Hey Dev are there any Boat coins in the kitty to buy promo/listings? Cryptoia fee is about as much as the total boat market-cap. If you can get me 0.1 btc of Boat at 15sats, you have yobits listing price right there.

I'm thinking there still is a lot of Boat in the dev fund, as not much from what I can see has been spent. Only on a few promotions and I believe a Nova listing but apart from that, not much else has been spent. I would love to see Boat listed on Cryptopia as its a good exchange for coins like Boat.

I love too, to see BOAT listed on cryptopia exchange, but with the enormous fee they ask like 5 BTC this is not going to happen soon, I don't know if they are still making 50% off for the delisted coins from novaexchange but even if so, is still 2.5 BTC which is still a lot of money.

He told me he is launching another coin.  I didn't want to say anything for about a month now, but this seems to be what he's doing.

Having a lower POS percentage may actually turn out to be BOAT's saving grace (along with Piggy, and a few other coins).  What seems to be happening is that people can't control their greed or have too much financial need to avoid crashing the price.

I'm trying to buy a new video card or I would be all over this. I can't even find a card that is selling at MSRP. It is worse that I want to get an AMD graphics card because I want to use a freesync monitor for gaming. The new Vega cards are power hogs for sure and they have some terrible reviews plus are overpriced. Miners be driving up all the prices. Yarrr.

This not good that the dev not communicate with the community and people that try and make boat a good crypto. If he now is making a new coin, i not think many people will join because the dev never keep his promise and always delay. It says on the 1st page he would use some premine for cryptopia listing but nothing, he had a chance to sell some boat a while ago and pay for a listing back then but he not listen. I support prowe 100% because he the one trying to do something for boat and a few other guys on here.

Look like an issue brewing on here. That is not good for the community especially all of us are supporting BOAT ever since it started. I would hope that this will not be an issue in the long run. Please try to reconcile and we will all have a good time.

I'm with you as I have been a big supporter of Boat for a long time now, I even kept this thread alive while this coin looked dead at around 10 sats. We have grown and come so far since then and I just hope the community can stick together and work this out.

I'll be supporting Boat for as long as it lives as this is one of my favourite coins in crypto. I think it has huge potential if the dev starts working on the project. Thanks to some community members, they have been working on Boat and have done a great job with the website and the Twitter handle which before was average. Now the website looks a lot better and is eye catching. I just hope in 2018 Boat really starts to shine with some real world uses for the coin.

I'm a fan. Now the thing is, a blockchain is a blockchain, it doesn't belong to anyone. Anyone can dev on it. The trouble is how do they get paid?? Its actually the community thats the value, not the dev, so we need to go out there and tell the world about BOAT. 15%-20% of this coin is not a material amount of money, you couldn't start a company on that, even with 1 dev. So its up to us to push how good this coin is and let the old dev alone. The coin works, it lives, its on exchanges, but where is the hype? The hype has to come from us. So let the tweeting begin!

I am still very much in.  After seeing about ten well-touted coins sink to 1 Sat, I consider BOAT still a BTC maker with the other ones I've been mentioning:  Truckcoin, RAIN, PiggyCoin, Version,  Growthcoin,  and HealthyWorm   Bottlecaps should pick up soon but needed some work done.  Compound coin also looks like a possible contender for making large amounts of LTC and DOGE.

None of the POS coins are holding their value anymore. Multiplying coins and not creating revenue only dilutes the coin price.

What's the use case for BOAT?  What unique features does it offer?  Why would anyone be interested in it over the majors?  Hope and expectations is not enough.  This is a toy image coin better suited to Disney, Game Show Network or online gaming for bored housewives.  Are we gonna go with that and run with it?

How about a sweepstakes or lottery to win the Pirate's booty?  None have succeeded with that concept yet.
