You seem to ask the same questions everywhere... you are able to stake BOAT in a wallet.

The staking percentage is 5% annually.

To stake BOAT you need to download the QT wallet, after that the coins need to mature 24 hours.

After that you can unlock your wallet for staking and thats it

Not so good news for Boat as soon Boat will only be listed on one exchange Coinexchange as TradeSatoshi will be delisting Boat on the 1st of April. Not sure why as the chain is moving along nicely but I'm thinking that it could be due to the low volume and some days there is no trading at all.

Yes its still alive as the community continue to stake however there is no dev, I've been looking for a dev to take over the project for months now but all the ones I have spoken to are either busy with their own coin or that they don't want to take on the work which I can understand as we don't know what happened to the pre-mine and that there are no funds to pay any dev. If you know a dev willing to work for free then maybe we can get this back up and running again.

At least it's cheap now.....usually the coin held value pretty well and so with the low staking percentage it was hard to get much unless you invested pretty big into it.

That is true my friend, the price has been falling a bit recently. It could be that some people are tired of waiting for something to happen here, I have been trying to find a dev to take over the project but like I said I haven't had any luck.

Yeah its a shame that Coinexchange is closing down however lucky for Boat there is another exchange that isn't listed on CMC and that no one really knows about and that is BTCPop. The only problem is that there is no volume for Boat so it might be hard to trade on there. They also have a staking pool if anyone wants to stake Boat on there.

I'm still running the wallet as I have for the past couple of years. The problem is that Boat lost its main exchange, Coinexchange and I think less people are staking due to not being able to sell their rewards. BTCPop still has Boat listed if anyone is looking to buy and sell.

I don't have any balance yet.  I've seen it in the past before the last huge pump of 2017 that trusted people were selling coins to each other via this forum.

Hello and yes I am still here. I have been trying to get a dev to takeover the project but its been very hard as now Boat only has BTCPop exchange which not many people even know about. I could see if the Dravite project could maybe takeover Boat however they would most likely want to do a coin swap, boat to Dravite coins. I can ask if the community is up for it?

Sure, ask them. 

I'll send a message to the team some time today when I hope to catch one of them online and see what they think about taking over this project but like I said, there will most likely be a coin swap over to Dravite coin and that the coin supply is high however at least it is listed on a couple of exchanges and does have trading volume which Boat doesn't have currently.
