Please post a link to where the 1.7 version is. If I follow the MEGA link in the OP I get 1.6.9 version

Crypto currency enthusiast and miner since 2015. Mined approx 200 ETH during 2016 and 2017 and sold it at approximately $US40 each. Then I watched it reach $1000+ each. If anyone bothers to read this stuff pay attention to this: HODL HODL HODL HODL HODL HODL

I started mining with 1 AMD 7950 and 1 R9-280X. Then I gradually built my AMD operation into 12 R9-290s. Awesome ETH hash but ridiculous power consumption and heat. Over the last year I defected to the Nvidia team. I now use GTX 1070s. They were expensive to buy (probably a bargain now) but awesome hash rate vs. power consumption. blah blah blah blah

Thanks @minerx117 - some really cool stuff here. Once I build my first nvidia rigs, I will be testing this out and supporting. Just discovering these multi-pools, these can end up being critical to remaining as profitable as possible in case of bad times

I think v1.7.1-ZPOOL is more profitable and simple to use than -MPH version.  Roll Eyes

That's all fine - but where do I download it?

i think you might be right ZPOOL has alot more algos than MPH

MPH is very easy to use just create a account and worker and select: AUTO SWITCH (NVIDIA - Cryptonight, Ethash, Equihash, Groestl, Lyra2RE2, Myriad-Groestl, NeoScrypt, Skein) in HUB WORKERS

honestly if all I have to do to set up for zpool is change to my BTC address then that is easy. I have also created a hub miner on MPH and set it for the job you recommended. Now I just have to decide which one to use. There have been a lot of people claiming that zpool is taking 20% fees from people - I don't know what to believe.
Also if this is trying to use the most profitable algorithm - how does it account for power consumpti0 an all that?

ok so I run the MPH one, the first couple of tries it says "stratum authentication failed" which is crzy because I have had an account with MPH for months. Then it reaches  lyra2v2 and it's suddenly happy to accept my authentication. Is this just because it has currently decided that lyra2v2 is the most profitable right now? So it fails authentication until it gets to the one it esnt you to minr?

I don't understand how this is working

It will connect to the most profitable and not connect to the rest of them, that is how it works.

yes thats how it works at the moment lyra2v2 is the most profitable for NVIDIA algo on MPH so yes my miner will chose that algo for you. it will automatic change to, when another algo becomes more profitable

"ok so I run the MPH one, the first couple of tries it says "stratum authentication failed" which is crzy"    its not crazy it has to cycle through the algo's until it gets to the most profitable so its perfectly normal..

OK I ran it overnight on MPH and it looks like I made maybe $US0.50.

If I were mining ZEC during the same period I would have made $2-$3

I have always had a problem with algo switching - it switches based on what is profitable NOW, so you mine until you have some of that coin but by then the market has all changed again. I guess this is much more suited to someone who has 100s or 1000s of GPUs so that can get instant results. I have only 4 Nvidia GPUs and 6 AMD GPUs so I have to mine what is generally going to give me a reliable price tomorrow, not the best price right now.

Thank you though - it was fun to see how something like this works and I think it's cool that you give this to the community for free.

Good luck to you!

keep checking your balance at  MPH i bet you earn't a lot more than 0.50c it will still be coming in.. its takes a while to start coming in as it has to be confirmed, sent to exchange, exchanged, then sent back to you i have been testing both 1.7.1-MPH and 1.7.1-ZPOOL for the last few weeks both has 4x1070's running at 120watts (Total Power from wall(575watt) running and they seem pretty consistent, im pulling in on average 0.016 to 0.019 btc from each rig everyday (note it takes almost 24hours for full income to start coming in so yes if you try this for a short 24 hour or less burst don't expect instant results..

Regards
Nemo

P.S in Regards to the 20% income stealing from ZPOOL that a lot of people have been commenting on in this thread... my 1.7.1-ZPOOL is bringing in more btc everyday compared to 1.7.1-MPH at the moment has been for the last few weeks.. just wanted to test for myself before i commented on it so if ZPOOL is taking 20% MPH must be taking more : ) as far as i can tell the fee's are exactly as they state on the Pools Website 2% for Zpool 0.9%for MPH but as Zpool has alot more algos and coins atm it seems to make more at the moment MPH has its perks to such as much better zcash pool and the etherem algo support is good to..
