Hey, for 50 chips you'll need 4.0325 BTC. I've reworked the spreadsheet again and ran some tests - it should be 100% correct now hopefully.

well then:

interested in ~30 chips, hereby pledging.
requesting PM if things get serious enough to require payment.

It is serious now. First come first serve make a payment or miss out.

If necessary to move this forward I can pay for another 160 chips just let me know when you only need 12.48 + fees and I can pop it in.

And silly question... are there any TAX or IMPORT duties on these 10K chips? Didn't notice that on the OP.

You'll need to add another 12.792BTC on top of your current 25.619 to get a total of 38.411BTC according to my calculator.

PS: I'm not sure about the tax and duties - please ask OP for this.

Thanks JohnK.

Just a note those completed cells in green include fees and shipping correct?

The BTC Paid: column is the amount you guys have paid. The Chips Getting Realistically Round DOWN (value derived from PAID): has already factored in the shipping fees (from Avalon to you - a flat rate of 0.035 currently as OP said he'll foot the rest for easy calculation) and the 2.5%

Confirmed, although you overpaid a bit if I am not wrong. Noted that down and it'll probably go forward for shipping from OP to you.

Looks like on the spreadsheet I am getting 99.9999 chips, and it says to round down. Should I send few more mBTC to clear that up ? 99 chips are hard to mount on board - even number is better - that's why I was trying to compute for 100 chips.
Nah, according to the OP 99.99999 is getting 100.

Confirmed .9999999999... = 1

1/3 = .3333333333...

.3333333333... * 3 = .9999999999...

3 * (1/3) = 1

therefore

.9999999999... = 1

MIND BLOWN!

OP are you going to have everything in mtgox on time?

Hmmm I used the little calculator formula on the spreadsheet...If you're not worried I'm not worried...

Edit:
I just noticed you have a tip box up top. Take my left overs and add it to the tip Wink

You mean the one for nebiz who created that spreadsheet? I'll add that to the count, then.  Smiley

I second the need for this. People will be more willing to commit if we can set a deadline.  OP seems like a pretty busy guy, but most of us are interested in knowing by Friday.

Can we set a hard deadline for funds disbursed by 4/27 Midnight UTC and if this fails then JohnK distributes funds back minus 1% for being a good escrow and working diligently regardless of the problems?

Can I get votes yea or nay on this and can we do a tally?

Voting yes. I say we set a deadline for 24-36 hours from now. Everyone has had plenty of time to get their BTC in.

Vote yes on deadline.  JohnK has been present, but OP has not and there is no indication that this purchase will ever finalize.

Alright, 4/27 Midnight UTC might be a little too fast (this is equivalent to 4/26 @ 7 PM PDT), as our two big pending contributors (that gets us over the 780 BTC) haven't communicated their timelines on the board on Friday.

JohnK, how quickly can you disburse funds if the timeline expires?  I think if you can do it right away, we could set the deadline for 4.28.13 Midnight UTC, which is equivalent to 4/27 @ 7 PM PDT, or 50 hours from now.  People are most interested in hitting the deadline set by Zefir here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=177827.0 if this falls through.

edit: Here is a quote from Zefir: The buying window opens now and closes by end of this month, or precisely 2013-05-01T00:00Z (May 1st 2013, 00:00 UTC).  So, 50 hours should be a rock solid estimate for those wishing to defect if we can't hit our deadline.

Yay on the deadline. If friday midnight is too soon, then saturday 11:59:59 UTC or 23:59:59 UTC might be good candidates.

i also vote for a deadline, there are lots of chip orders going in and we don't want to be behind more than we already are.
