572 of those chips are mine

See below, copied verbatim from an old PM, minus ragingazn's name, John K can confirm.

Not that it matters, those posts, TXID, confirm i bought 572 chips in total, 320 from dserrano5 and 252 from atcsecure

Hi John

I was just looking over the spreadsheet for the group batch #1 buy ( https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AiYcEqkgyjc_dGU0VzhHRGpOOUxudWkxdWpDN3RmbFE#gid=0 ) and i saw that the two people i bought chips from in this batch (dserrano5 and atcsecure) were marked in red and I wasn't listed, so i wanted to make sure that gets cleared up

I've been in contact with <name removed> (ragingazn628) about these chips and the design process/etc for months so he is well aware that I bought out the 320+252=572 chips from dserrano5 and atcsecure.

See below for a snippet from an email conversation with him, has the TXID and posts that confirm this

Quote
Here are the links for the confirmation of the chips i bought

I'd be willing to do it as well for a very small fee (maybe 0.1% plus tips) I can verify with john.

I think we should probably wait for John to update anyway.

additionally, I don't think it's too much of a stretch to ask Ragingazn should cover the 1.5% from the escrow and return his handling fees so people get what they put in.

I don't think there's any question that Raginazn has forfeit his fees entirely by going AWOL. Any fees paid to whoever tracks the refunds should come from the TOTAL of the refund amount. Let John K. keep his escrow fees, let the person sorting through Ragin's absolute mess of a spreadsheets/lack thereof take whatever the spreadsheet maker's cut as a % of the total refunds, and let Ragin have absolutely nothing but the public scorn he has so overwhelmingly earned.

Maybe he and Yifu can get together and talk about their emotional problems (Chi/blues)...  Roll Eyes

I have taken the liberty of setting up a Google form to collect all this information to hopefully facilitate a seamless refund (and take as much workload off John as possible).

I am using this as the frontend for a spreadsheet to track refunds and transfers which will ultimately be used to generate a "sendmany" transaction that John should be able to execute in one command with bitcoind. We will of course check, double, and triple check the transaction when it comes to that point (or leave it to him if he chooses to go a different route) but I'm just trying to put some organization to this chaos in the interest of just putting this all behind us. (I should note that we aren't even sure we'll get a refund so all this may be for naught; but it's better than sitting on our hands).

I apologize to those who have already submitted this information in the thread but as you can imagine, it is pretty impossible to accurately track this stuff on more than 80 pages of forum posts (as well as use this information in a manner to streamline refunds). So please use this link for your refund / transfer information.

I realize that anonymity is of concern, so all fields are optional. It will of course degrade the usefulness of the spreadsheet if you omit fields, but it is ultimately up to you.

In the interest of full disclosure, I should mention that I will of course be sharing the information collected with John K at a minumum. Additionally, BigBenInLondon and / or ryepdx may be helping with the spreadsheet construction (though I think I have it mostly under control). There are some oddities with the amounts (and usernames) that will need to be hashed out; and I may need to enlist the help of one or both of them since I do have a life outside this forum.

Here is the form for refund / chip transfer tracking:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1Db9Xx8NYvjnq-Pm7MmuVgWauTP1qSaFRyemI_sa5DkA/viewform

Everyone please take a minute to fill out redphlegm's form and check my spreadsheet to make sure your chip count is accurate.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ApT7WUJuJCwMdEhFX2UxbF9Nd0xydmhnUUJiZVBLVlE#gid=1

If redphlegm's form matches the spreadsheet and there is no contention, we should have no problem issuing refunds.

What stops a scammer from filling out this form, listing an accurate amount of chips for someone ELSE, and putting THEIR refund address?

Please think this through guys...

Once refunds become available John K will sort that out, I assume.  It might be better to post a signed message with the transaction id you used to pay originally.  The form and spreadsheet aren't binding.  We just want to make sure we have an accurate chip count at the moment, and accurately reflect all trades.

My payment was from a wallet over which I no longer have control.
I do state, however, that I have retained full rights over my order, having never sold them.

This is exactly why I asked for the addresses. The next step would be to verify the addresses / identities of the people.

Why don't we start a thread where a user signs a message using their return address.  The message would contain the original tx id or public link to the sale and the number of chips.  This should be easily verified.

Well, this is frustrating, to say the least. I wonder what the fuck JohnK thinks his escrow services are supposed to be for. We paid him to deal with this shit in the event things went south. That's the WHOLE REASON you use Escrow.

Honestly, what does he think his services are for? This shit should have been resolved weeks ago...  Roll Eyes Nice one, JohnK. It's sounding like Ragin just got 10,000 free chips to use to cheer himself up out of his bummed out state.  Embarrassed THANKS FOR NOTHING!
