This has already been covered many times in this thread.... but since you're either new or cant be bothered to read..

Feathercoin used to have a reward of 200 FTC per block with a higher block time reward....2.5 mins.   

When the devs decided to alter the block time, they had to adjust the block reward to make sure the supply stayed the same.

noob math:
200 FTC  divided by 2.5 mins = 80 FTC and 1 Min block time.

Check that post where the first post is one of the devs showing the halving calculation from the feathercoin code base.....which is publicly available

How was I supposed to know FTC is halving at block 1,793,041. On feathercoin.com there is clearly written:

I said Chekaz to delete that becuase it was from the scrypt algo, after moving to neoscrypt it is like it says for 3 days

I don't read https://forum.feathercoin.com/. I've read this thread for 1 month and I don't remember there was something about halving at block 1,793,041.

I thought that was funny when I checked it during the recent 0.9.6.1 code review. We did do some extra sanity checks, but it was Lizhi and Ghostlander that looked into halving for 0.9.6 and Bushstar did a lot of work on 0.8.x when we forked to 1 min blocks.

However, I think the 2.1 M is supposed to be the number of fee coins, not blocks.  Note:  It seems the 2.1 M is the bitshift and  the 1.7 M is the revised block after the change to one minute blocks (to maintain 4 years).  I know some time was spent on  it.

Certainly, if anything is else is wrong we'll create an urgent issue...

There is always a variance in difficulty/hashingpower with delays or speed up the blocks by a bit.
