Hi Guys. i'm new in cryptocurency and want to start learn mining with feathercoin, i downloaded nsgminer and setup like :
nsgminer.exe --neoscrypt -I 14 --gpu-memclock 760 --gpu-engine 850 -o stratum+tcp://ftc-neo.give-me-coins.com:3336 -O xyzzbcvrf.1:x
miner is start but Ks:h is still 0, my card is old HD6870 but i think it must show some activity, also on givemecoins.com worker is no active, what i'm do wrong ?

The network timestamps transactions by hashing them into an ongoing chain of hash-based proof-of-work, forming a record that cannot be changed without redoing the proof-of-work. As long as a majority of CPU power is controlled by nodes that are not cooperating to attack the network, they'll generate the longest chain and outpace attackers. China loves FTC. Also one of our core wallet devs is from there and runs his own FTC info site for the chinese feathercoin lovers. Trade volume is usually around 1 mill and the exchange does have trading fees so it looks like real volume.

Great coin, really fast transaction just 1 minutes for 1st confirmation. Hope someday more services will use ftc as virtual payment. Go go go ftc and don't be far away from lastest 'fashion style'

The feathercoin blockchain is small and lite as is.. it's only 2.14 GB or so and with a decent internet connection takes around 2 hours to download. There is no "electrum" wallet for feathercoin yet!

The feathercoin blockchain is small and lite as is.. it's only 2.14 GB or so and with a decent internet connection takes around 2 hours to download. There is no "electrum" wallet for feathercoin yet! Oh. It seemed to take a while last time I downloaded it. I'll just give it a go with the standard wallet then. Thanks.

Seems quite low risk at around 2000 sats. Now only half the supply getting dumped by miners. Bought a bit and left some orders. Go FTC. Bring back the glory days!

It's similar to solo mine any other coin. Just config your local Feathercoin wallet by adding rpcuser, rpcspassword, port and allowed IPs of your rigs in local network in feathercoin.conf file.

Only invest what you're willing to lose and really.... take everything you read and hear with a grain of salt. Invest at your own risk. There is strong support at this price level. Obviously with each at different stages. Both bitcoin and litecoin have made new highs. Fastcoin is on its way. Feathercoin appears to be on the verge of breakout. Again, take all this with a grain of salt. Invest at your own risk!

It's getting json_rpc_call failed, retry after 30 seconds, in the official forum they say to use feathercoin-cli to issue comand, but is not clear how to work with it in windows Hi,
