• changes to unit tests (issue #159)
• fix to format errors on Multisig GUI page (issue #160)
• solo mining not working, getwork borken (issue #166)
• ACP in advisory mode crashes cliend (issue #169)
• ACP enforced config parameter not handled correctly in 0.9.6 (issue #170)
• fix to connections problems for incomming connections from 0.11.x nodes (issue #171)
• to gui display problems (# issue #180)
• updates to configure script to fix dependicy detection problems (issue #190)
• RPC dumpwallet issue empty content (issue #236)

Hey, so I'm using Feathercoin Core v0.9.6.1-ftcit-Standard (64-bit) and I can't get the blockchain to sync. Been trying for a few days and it updates the blocks verrrrrrrry slooooooowly. Now it says no block source available - stuck 3 yrs 13 wks behind - on block 348619. The new release is up on github, but it's .zip.asc . I'm a newbie in many ways... how can I install the new 9.6.2 to see if my problems are fixed? I pointed my mining proceeds to this wallet address before the sync was done, but now can't update the blockchain to see the transactions. Thx for any help.

I'm in the same exact boat as you and I couldn't figure out how to place the archived blockchain into the app.  I opened my wallet last week, I'm just now at 2 years and 9 weeks behind

Very good price action, moving ahead. FTC is the old coin with good DEV team, I think future this coin is very bright and before end of this year could be reach 100 million market cap. and maybe more.

Well, the price action makes sense now. Devs trying to make some money off the release. Honestly seems fair to me, no one is paying them to work on feathercoin

By far more reliable and stable established coin than any of those new projects that we see more and more often on the market without any clear background and only with big promises to be the next Bitcoin . In my view this one is easy a 1$ coins and it's just a matter of market conditions that today we see this prices. As soon as the free cash party at Bitcoin ends , we should see here the growth this coin deserves 

Been watching this coin for years.

It was, in the early years...Bitcoin, Litecoin and Feathercoin.

It might be an interesting next few months for FTC.

But a $1 might be low balling it. Conservative.

FTC seems to be resolving issues that plague BTC.

Couldn't agree more. Also let's face it even the biggest ICOs now don't bring the trust and reputation that the old well established projects bring. Here we know that we work with proper cryptocurrencies with great teams behind.
Also I sort of observe that the old projects start to gain force. Look at VTC for instance . There is potential there especially if the devs put in the effort.

I personnel feel like soon the market trend will shift more to the Alts as it was back in March for various reasons that you also mentioned. This will happen . Keeping 8k in one coin only is really , all the eggs in one tiny basket. And the day it happens those coins will just explode .

Hi!

Just wanted to let you know how happy I am with the current price action... though I did foresee it!

- About a month ago, after some successful trades I decided to spread my altcoin portfolio a bit more.  
- After extensive search in the bittrex listed coins, I found only two coins worth investing...  (of course there are more but I had to choose 2...and of course you want to know the second coin, so here comes: qrl) anyway, all the history, tech & fundamentals pointed that ftc was underrated and pretty much everything else overhyped. The price just didn't make any sense, so I bought 15 000 ftc right away!
- It's painful to be right, because now I feel guilty for not buying more  
- I am Sticking with ftc, no need to sell, I like where the coin is heading !
