what is a port number and address for feathercoin.miningpoolhub.com ?

its port number 12012

I am using Nvidia Gtx1070 card

Running CCminer fork from tpruvot
https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminer/releases/tag/2.2.4-tpruvot

64bit version

Code:
ccminer-x64 -a neoscrypt -o stratum+tcp://hub.miningpoolhub.com:12012 -u YOUR'E_USERNAME -p YOUR_PASSWORD

Don't forget to change your "Hub Workers" credentials on the miningpoolhub website if you want to be able to track performance for each  PC worker for different coins mined then add this same info to your ccminer batch file if you have multiple ones in your config for example:  YOUR'E_USERNAME.worker1 etc...

Hi folks,

I've been mining for a while this coin and now I see the hash rate of the network has fallen from the usual 6GH/s to a value of 4GH/s.

Do you have any idea about why is this happening?
maybe it is because altminer.net cancelled FTC mining on their pool. There were a lot of miners doing FTC.

This is not a joke, the FTC has been very stable, and its unique algorithm is very energy efficient, many projects recently started using neoscrypt algorithm, this is a very important reason, the FTC has four years, also brings considerable income, how do you think it's dead?

Its dead b/c the wallet I download from feathercoin was dead on arrival.  Still stuck at 36 weeks left for many days.  If they had real development they would have fixed this simple issue.

Now i don't have full access to my funds till i get this stuck block issue figured out.  Any recommendations anyone?

Doge is cheap to send from exchange to exchange; it's on a lot of exchanges as well.

if i sell something on an exchange for btc & want to remove my money it's cheaper to just convert it to doge & send it to whatever exchange i'm trying to move it to

I manage to fully sync the block after it was stuck on block 36 weeks left.  What I had to do is reinstall the wallet again and deleting out all the old blocks,  So it spent another 2-3 days to resync everything over again and finally worked and synced everything.

I was in no big rush but glad to see it working finally.

The new client that bushstar is working on will reportedly sync in 2-3 hours.

I think this coin might be going segwit in a few weeks? If so this will be a better investment than vertcoin, lightcoin, and digibyte if they can get it working.

You'll find a lot more in the official Feathercoin forum. For a list of the major tech being worked on for the 0.13 wallet, see here:

The 0.13 wallet just got released yesterday. So most of the important tech is now implemented. Obviously development won't stop there but it is already a major step.

Thanks for this update! Looks like they came across a minor bug so it will be a few days before the actual final release, but exciting stuff!

I'd love to see FTC on Binance, and that requires the "CEO/Lead Dev/Founder" to apply. Exposure to their 5 million new users could be a boon, since Poloniex doesn't want us on their exchange. It's awesome that we have Cryptopia, Bittrex and UpBit though! That could be enough!  Other good and new exchanges look like KuCoin, Coinnest, Bit-Z, gate.io etc. We are still on Coinexchange.io but I guess coinmarketcap delisted it. Must be too scammy.

I hope this doesn't translate into anything but excitement for the future of this coin!

Why Poloniex doesn't want FTC?

They insist on a unique genesis block for every coin. FTC shares the genesis block with LTC. That's a weird demand, really.
