I wonder how magnificent was the pump to 1000$+ last november... it must have been something, too bad i wasn't around at the time.

Stick around a while, BTC will pop that cherry at one point or another.

Anyone else kind of happy that the price drop, just to buy some more coins to hold?

How much longer do you want this to happen? Another 6 years?

No, just so I can take advantage of cheap coins like anyone else would.

Btw, you were pessimistic about the increase right?

So after even 6 years you want the complete market to go down, make everyone's investment worth less just so you can buy a few coins more at a cheaper price? Am i really reading this?

And after you got your coins should the market go down again for the next guy who wants cheap coins? Or just for you and after that only up again?

Do you think I want the price to be higher and then buy? I don't think many people would want to do that, but maybe you would?

Thats how the market works. Do you think the people who bought at $1k should blame the sellers? They thought that bitcoin price would increase even more, and thats why they bought it. They thought that someone else might buy their coins for more than what they bought it for. Do you see a pattern here? Thats how the market works.

It was pretty great and if you went through it then you'd understand the hodl mentality. During the rise we'd dip down a tad, but if you remained unshaken you saw some pretty massive gains. Unfortunately you also opend yourself up to massive loss once the bubble bursted for real.

The real oh shit its happening moment happened after the 260ath, when we hit around 360.

Thanks for the replies guys... maybe these crazy days are just the start of the next mega-pump. I bet it was normal to have 80$ movements every day back then, and perhaps it will become the norm again  Grin

I take it you still don't want a Bitcoin off me for Christmas just like last year Wink

Thanks for the thought, but no, I would rather persevere on my chosen trading strategy for a while.  Wink

Please consider donating the BTC to some other cause or person.  All the best...

Yeah... If Jorge were to accept your BTC, then he may actually learn something about BTC... which could influence his "academic" analysis....  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue

Not as long as these dumpers are around. They will stop every rally.

2k wall @410 on Finex

There aren't enough USD swap offers left on Finex to eat just through that one wall. Also, USD swap numbers are higher now than they were during all of the rally before, over 25 million $. Many of these swaps were probably opened when the bid side became super thin as we approached the peak at $475, so I'd assume that a lot of these swap takers couldn't close their longs and are sitting on a big unrealized loss. Also, swap rates got obscenely high during the rally (up to ~1% per day!), so those margin longs will probably get closed sooner than later.

Yes, it was really great and excited, but the China ban soon after was really terrible (at least for me) and this was the only time i sold and lost around 20% of my BTC stash just because of the fear and because i listened to the fudsters and trolls similiar to Shroomskit and others...didn't sell 1 satoshi since that lesson and i am not planning to sell any in the near future...lesson learned

That would be the last problem if you had enough pumpers with real money.
You expect starving Africans now to buy your thousand dollar magic beans in order to make you rich (through those who steal from their poor there) because traders who actually have some money to help your piggy-backing efforts are some filthy scum. -> Is this about right?

I implied I tend to believe in the: The Willy Report theory.

Otherwise, if you care about the USD price of Bitcoin, you sort of accept USD as money.
