… And Satoshi answered and said to them, "Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only break their chains from financial servitude, but even if you say to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' it will happen. And all things you ask of the Bitcoin, believing in it, you shall receive and more."
"There should not be any signed int. If you've found a signed int somewhere, please tell me (within the next 25 years please) and I'll change it to unsigned int." -- Satoshi

Ouch, this is turning sour rather quick; So lets recap (1) Lost 19k btc (2) Said site would be up in 24-48 hrs (3) Decided to rebuild the entire site (no ETA) (4) Didn't show up at CES (5) Let trading go on for 12hrs after hack (6) Pantera removed any association with stamp

edit: Seems like finex thinks things are progressing nicely  Cheesy Perhaps stamp panic buying coins Tongue

I am proud fiat baghodler on stamp since 480 levels and I dont feel any urgency to buy all the cheap coins once stamp opens its gates.

If and when stamp opens its gates Im sure you are right there wont be a stampede (HA HA) by fiat holders like yourself to immediately buy cheap coins. Likewise all those with coin will not rush to sell, most will remove their coins to safety causing a run on their reserves. The net effect of this episode at stamp will be for all coin holders at all exchanges to leave no more on the exchange than absolutely necessary for trading. This may leave less net coins on exchanges for use in leveraged short positions, although I suspect that fractional reserve banking means the lent coins dont actually exist.

(7) Bitcoinwisdom removing Stamp from chart

While I feel bad for anyone that has coins and/or fiat on Stamp right now, I don't feel bad for the owners of Stamp.  Those two have been some of the most arrogant, condescending adolescents since MK that the Bitcoin world has ever seen.  They acted like their exchange was completely impervious to attack.  Yeah, ok.  Serves them right.

Stamp is done: once you lose client's confidence it is over. Probably will run away with the rest of the money once they realize this.

If Nejc is running, I'll give him 1 year tops before he lies bloody and look stupid in his own bathroom.
Hopefully it won't happen and I can reclaim my bitcoins that I lost the coming years if bitcoin is to take off.

Mark is doing fine after losing way more.

Yeah, I don't know how... Maybe people still have faith in it. He'll probably be dead soon enough though.
People are investing alot into bitcoin, it's simply not gonna go unnoticed, believe that.

Also, I should add that the more the price rise, they obviously becomes bigger targets.

Lets not get on the high horses, their server have probably been compromised and they have to identify how the hacker got in and verify if clients balances haven't been tampered with, thus the "rebuilding from ground up" phase.

Those spreading fear about stamp issues in order to affect price are having a bad time.. Better cover those shorts guys  Cheesy
