That would be clever if we were trading near $53.

Afraid it's going to end up like it always does: in tears Sad

Can we eventually let this "FPR" meme die gracefully?

Not saying it's a completely bad way to visualize the market forces, especially to drive home a certain point to the "permahodling" crowd, but a much more accurate way (imo) of saying what has been going on since around July/August is that we're in a traders' market, while previously, since about late 2012/early 2013, we've been in a market that favored holders.

But... that's not gonna make a good Kung Fu movie title?

Don't lose hope, bulls!  Just a quick consolidation before separation/2nd stage ignition.

Just looking for the 10am east dumps/pumps to see where it stands.  Like last Friday was 10ish dump.  Some east coast trading group starts at 9 preparing to hit all exchanges at once.  Guess it takes about an hour and a half to get all the bots in place.  LOL

I think we're set for a pump to 300 USD.
Everything is pointing that way.

i have a years worth of mined coins hoarded in cold storage

a years worth of mined coins is so vague, i can only presume you have 1314000 bitcoins stashed away

it's intentionally vague .. i'm far from rich but i do have a pretty good small stash. at some point i have to make decisions that i have converted enough fiat on one front that i can focus new fiat on another front .. i think i am at that stage .. not saying i wont buy anymore at all .. what i am saying is i am not going to chase the price at this point. I feel i am in position now to work on a couple other things i got going on that require financing. i might maybe trade some to make back .2 bitcoin i lost in the coinbase pump that left me stuck in fiat forcing me to make a move to end the possibility of compounding losses. i probably have already made it back and some if i just HODL all my positions. i did make some pretty good growth after the coinbase pump and dump though.

Chinese New Year coming up next week.

Banks in this region, particularly Bitfinex's CATHAY UNITED, will be closed from 2/18 - 2/23 so no incoming wires between those dates.

This week, I've wired nearly half my bank account to Bitfinex in preparation.

Everything is pointing that way.

I'd say it's reasonable to expect a rise to the 280-320 range within the next while. The question is where will it go from there? If you're just using the price rise to convince yourself "next stop, 1000!" well let's just say that's not nearly as likely as 300.

Ahh good old speculation sub-forum. Where every rise is the next bubble and every drop is doomsday to 0.
