Apple stock  pays a dividend

And the pe ratio is only 16.8 not bad for a company  still growing

Currently, dividends are unsustainable as they are dipping into their cash reserves. Corporate profits need to grow in order for them to be robust. Thing is, when you're already the biggest company in the world, how do you grow by say a factor of ten?

LOL the only way I could get out of being trapped in paper profits now is if I actualize them. I think I'll just let it ride.

Probably, but a good chance to make a profit, nonetheless.

So Jobs is pushing up daisies and AAPL faces real competition in every single market they're in. Purely in terms of limiting the potential downside, Bitcoin is a much safer bet.

That would be clever if we were trading near $53.

why didn't i do that? FML I've been doing this all wrong.......

Do you still hodl BTC or was that your stash? you can triple your stash by buying back now, so why not.... you waited before just wait again and try and accumulate more coin while waiting.

this is a summary of what I did

originally I had 1000 BTC (~5000 EUR) , lost half  Angry on the first bubble (260 -> 40)  but then I hedl

130k is what I left in for re-investing  but I am very bad @ daytrading so now I only have 115k   Angry Angry Angry

when I buy, I buy to HODL  (with a stoploss of course)   Cool

i assume you got 300-500 coins @ cold storage and $ 115 k left in cash ? selling @ 600 ... good job, mate.

$240 at Bitstamp..

Stamp and CB are leading. China is following like a lost puppy. This smells less like the FPR short squeeze than a Yankee Doodle rally. I think they buyer(s) may be jumping the gun a bit, but let's see how it plays out. He'll need a heluva lot of dough to bust the pattern.

Can we eventually let this "FPR" meme die gracefully?

Not saying it's a completely bad way to visualize the market forces, especially to drive home a certain point to the "permahodling" crowd, but a much more accurate way (imo) of saying what has been going on since around July/August is that we're in a traders' market, while previously, since about late 2012/early 2013, we've been in a market that favored holders.

i think i have converted enough fiat into bitcoins that i can move new fiat into other things i have going on. i have a years worth of mined coins hoarded in cold storage and a handful on exchanges to trade now as well so i think i am good. i have some other important shiat to dump fiat into. i only keep small amounts of fiat around because i think that stuff is toxic and it is just a matter of time.

a years worth of mined coins is so vague, i can only presume you have 1314000 bitcoins stashed away
