Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
What is it about Bitcoin that instantly corrupts everyone who touches it?  Worse than crack!

Quote
Force and Bridges, who worked together in the Baltimore investigation, had both independently ripped off Silk Road.

According to the government, it was Bridges who was responsible for the January theft, which he perpetrated by taking over Curtis Green's "Flush" account. It was that theft that first caused Ulbricht to turn to violence to defend his empire. And when he needed to hire a "hitman," another corrupt cop—Force—made himself available to do the deed.

I think corruption is not doable via fiat money; cause reversible... Why not sell every BTC for fiat and put it into the Banks! Cause safe!
But wait... It is!  Grin

Crime is, indeed, possible with fiat real money.  Oddly enough [and much unlike Bitcoin], most real money transactions do not revolve around it.  Hospitals and roads get built, food gets bought and sold, children get schooled.
Strange but true.

of course it is reversible. they can take your property and belongings if proven guilty.

but as you can see...your coins will not be safe anymore. they are building mechanisms to take them away from you.

That's pretty much what happens when penny stocks are abandoned.  A few diehards, refusing to admit to themselves that the bag they've been stuck with is, indeed, the bag, continue holding it.  Now this wouldn't be as quite as silly if not for the continuous flood of new coins mined daily.
To see this curiosity in action [outside of deadcoin trading], check the performance of 100% confirmed dead "securities" on Havelock.
