yeah , this time to make some profit , i cant believe i can so easily play secondstrade usd/btc predictions , i have converted my 4$ to 12 $ btc , hope i will quit now , with this.
can anyone give me a valid explanation why BTC price is suddenly becoming too high since last 2 days.
please give only serious reply

There's not a specific reason. Some say it's due to the Greeks buying Bitcoin (that's doubtful). I would think it's others taking example from the Greeks and taking out some of their fiat and investing it into Gold or Bitcoin.

Or it could be that it was simply overdue, like in October 2013.

Bubbles don't just happen because they are 'overdue', there's no such thing. In October 2013, it was due to the huge media spotlight on Bitcoin and the willy bot.

That said, a large increase in price would be nice now Smiley

Gentlemen it's rather pleasant to wake up to another price rise. That bear market really could be over, it's about time to be honest. It was always going to come to an end. Could we break 270 today? I really hope this isn't a false dawn, would be fantastic to push up to near 300 in the next few weeks. Anybody thinking about buying better get in now, that's a 5% rise at least in the last 24 hrs.

CNN Money : Greeks are rushing to Bitcoin

http://money.cnn.com/2015/06/29/technology/greece-bitcoin/

Hyperbolic title but hey, can't hurt!

Some big entity should really put bitcoin atm's in all major cities and islands.

How stupid is this idea?!? Do you think someone who has EUR 60 daily limit on the ATM will waste their precious EUR on Bitcoin? They have many other more necessary things to buy with that money.

ATM's are running low on fiat. Buy 1000 euro worth of bitcoins online, go exchange bitcoins for fiat at bitcoin atm. Doesn't seem that stupid "?!?"

You are telling me that the whole Greek banking infrastructure can't fill ATMs for more then 60 EUR/person a day, but some new private entity will succeed filling Bitcoin ATMs with more cash? that makes sense to you?

The reason they are limiting withdrawals is because the European Central Bank stopped the flow of fiat to Greece. The banks have limited funds so they do not want a bank run to the point that they all go broke.

Meanwhile in Greece...

That's an amazing photograph.
and to stay on topic... there's a pretty decent wall at 258 on bitfinex, but the price keeps cranking up slowly.

Yeah, only this was during 2011's protests with the EU sockpuppet coalition government. It's really funny how people trolls want to present things that ARE NOT true.

PS: from last nights protest about Greece voting NO to EU's proposed austerity measures (and relative link to prove it) Tongue

Good morning Gentlemen. May the troll be with you! For me and my fellow citizens in Greece, it will be the same. When you're already wet, you don't really care if it's gonna rain... Wink

I was surprised to wake up to this price. What's more surprising is that I don't see so many pictures of rockets, trains or is everyone still sleeping?
I didn't expect the price to be influenced already, but who knows where this might take us now.
Hopefully we will establish a new bottom at least over $300.

Does $266 count as a "psychological barrier"?

$266 was the high price during the first bubble of 2013. It was a psychological barrier going down because we had never fallen before a previous "bubble high". It might take some effort to push above it.

I think we're taking our first steps into the bull market. This is new territory for a lot of people and it has been such a long time since we have been here.

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-33322754

Greek PM Alexis Tsipras has threatened to resign over the result of a snap referendum on Greece's debt crisis due on Sunday.

Mr Tsipras said a clear vote against austerity would help Greece negotiate a better settlement to the crisis.

Otherwise, he warned, he would not stay in office to oversee more cuts.

(ps- isn't this just a repeat of the recent election? will the Greek people have changed their minds now a few months down the line?)

In some ways it is, but at the last elections the greek people didn't knew that the people the elect will fuck things up that hard Cheesy, so they could have changed their minds quite easily.
