@sitarow whats your view on ltc? correction soon?

Hard to say.

In my opinion we have a new player keeping BTC at the price point between 260 - 270. Perhaps due to KNC bitcoin backed XBT now open to Germany. Holding BTC in this price point will prevent a mass rush to bring new hardware on the network therefore increasing difficulty and reducing profitability.

LTC is in a way still a free open market despite the obvious attempt by those holding large quantities of LTC dumping it for USD at these high prices.

Can we see moves into $10 LTC/USD? Perhaps as there are other extenuating circumstances (China market turmoil)+(Greece economic uncertainty) (political instability in the middle east).

This may be just an opportune pump opportunity to make coin using alts.

I think LTC is just catching up. It dropped way too low during the bear market (back to 2012 prices).

Can I talk about Litecoin here or will I get censored again?

Does anyone know if this coin is EVER coming down again?

How does a trader even gauge risk in this kind of situation?

Huh I just want to break even after my losses from bitcoin...

i'd be nice to actually make a buck trading.. never had that experience...

I've never seen money fly around like this. Kinda makes me sick actually.

Honestly I am still amazed to see its recent rally seeing how it dropped for such a long time.
As it is now I'm curious if it will correct short term or increase even higher long term.
Could go either way at this point

What do you expect the price to be?

I recall it's price at 1.6 not 6 months ago.

LTC from 1.5 to 6.7 in a few weeks. Seems legit Smiley

Looks like we will have to wait for bitcoin a little longer.

Worth pointing out that if you watch LTC there is no resistance to buy pressure. Buying naturally pushes back the asks. A bit different with bitcoin!

LTC used to be 50 USD per coin during the previous high, still some room upwards left...

But what is the trigger? Just a pre-halving pump, no?

But that was when Bitcoin was at 1200.

So about 14$ if it's a return to previous ratios?

Still I can't see myself getting in again until I see a significant decline.

I'd like to buy allot lower than this. I'd just like to have some sense of it having reached it's bottom before I go in.

The traders make money in both directions... it's odd to see this go up like this. Although I see it had a 59% increase this year as well in one day...

LTC follows Bitcoin's price. They refer to it as Litecoin is the silver to Bitcoin's gold.

I bought a bunch of LTC and PPC back in 2013. Not enough to change my life but enough to check the price every once in a while. I don't really see them being used for much though.

Best way to make money trading is to buy into a speculative altcoin after it has multiplied several times and has gone parabolic, with daily increases >20%, when everybody is talking about it.
Also make sure to borrow lots of money and use a lot of leverage, to get even bigger profits (don't think about potential losses, dream about that expensive car you want).
Everybody else is making mad profits, don't miss out !  Greed is good! Buy Now!  At any Price, Profit is guaranteed!  Buy Buy !
......

--> For the braindead amongst us, that was sarcasm.  This is how your greedy emotions get played and you lose lots of money.

That being said, the amount of shorters on bitfinex is still quite high, so we could see a nasty squeeze before the pump bubble pops.
