With Greece broke and no economy, and Chinas stock market crashing... is this all good or bad for bitcoin? so confusing  Roll Eyes

Gold and silver are getting dumped. Bond yields are stable, there is no true fear yet.

gold and silver are not being dumped, they are being suppressed/manipulated, there is a difference. rumor i heard is liquidity in bonds is drying up causing bond yields to rise and bond prices to drop .

It's going to get crazy a couple months before bitcoin halving if litecoin is any indication.  I mean litecoin has no infrastructure and no real purpose.  I'm shocked at a $6 litecoin.

why ?? litecoin was at $15.00 before .

yeap, kinda sad to watch all those bitcoin trolls waiting for a 10 % rise while litecoin is up like 500 %.

 Cheesy

that's because you arent any different from others bull scam a-holes.

consider me shorting ltc a "voice of reason".

If it's sad being up $50 in a month on btc... what does it make the dude who shorted at $235 and then decided to short the arising chickun?

you stupid? that was pure trolling.

When LTC et al. start losing 30-50% in a day, people will lose it all and regret playing altcoins with no bid depth. Its a double Edge sword  ..

This rise won't stop in the near future. The pump comes from China, and they aren't interested in working under western control. The western side has large majority control over existing bitcoins and the locations of mining farms. If Chinese won't pump bitcoin, then the miners will just slowly eat away value from the market and the currency will shrivel. Several practical alts will probably get aggressive takeovers and will be funded properly to provide better alternatives to bitcoin.

That at least would be my game theory of this situation.

Not exactly related to Bitcoin, but... what's happening here?

https://twitter.com/MarketWatch/status/618807005134909440

Was wondering the same - Bloomberg thought it important enough to put up an article with only the headline "NYSE suspends trading in all securities" and no text besides "story developing..."

Yeah, great analysis, everybody knows China has almost no bitcoin mining farms ...  Roll Eyes    Please rationalize your pump some more.

BITCOIN HAS BEEN HIT BY A DOUBLE SPENDING BUG?

Can someone PLEASE explain to me the significance of this ....there is also a warning on www.bitcoin.org

https://bitcoin.org/en/alert/2015-07-04-spv-mining

http://www.itproportal.com/2015/07/07/bitcoin-hit-with-double-spending-bug/

http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/a/38439

I'm personally glad that these issues (spv mining, block size, etc) are coming to the forefront now as they'll need to be dealt with eventually.

Good news is you can still Trade BTC and alts  Grin

Makes ya wonder if they are blaming on technical issues or just stopping a mass sell off .... as I was really going down quick prior to this...

I would like to think that things like this happening would be enough to get a few more people interested in diversifying their portfolios into BTC but what do I know. . .
