My good friend is Pete McMillan and he works as a clerk for the SEC. He sent me a screenshot yesterday of his laptop. On it was the press release for next Wednesday on the Bitcoin Winklevii ETF... So the decision has already been made folks.
I thought this bit of information would silence the debate that has been raging the past few hours. Remember to only invest more than you can afford and never take the advice of anyone that is prepared to give it. Also, remember that no shoes were made for a cobbler's feet before they are first made for his children.
Bold claim sir. The rule change has to take place, then the ETF has to be passed. But they can both be approved at the same time. I would not be surprised if this happens. I hope it does and the price jumps (and holds) over $3k. Also: Do not be surprised if the Winklevoss twins announce that the ETF will open up later this year. Being accepted does not mean hedge fund money will start flowing in that same day. |

I have found if you just talk computers or bitcoin in general to women they run away. So I don't think we have to worry about that in our geek/lame world here on bitcointalk. (or in real life for that manner) hmmm..that may have been a bit too harsh for this group.... on the other hand I have heard that if BTC gets to be around 10k a BTC and you have 100 BTC you suddenly without rime nor reason become very attractive...its a mystery? go figure? |

Yeah, I think $1300 will happen tomorrow. Given all the claims we've had this weekend that the ETF is already approved, regardless of how false thise claims may be, and the banks reopening to let money flow to the exchanges, I think people won't be able to resist taking extra steps to make sure they're on that rocket when it launches  I'm intrigued by Elwar's jump to 3 in his countdown! |
