So who knows - maybe Jihan and Ver will repump the old shitcoin. I'll be ready.

I have to say that  BCH will not go quietly out like this, and they're has got to be a couple more WTF moves from Ver and company to pump, dump and jump

Liberation day. All my bits are out of Polo.
So who's still in BCH. Be honest Wink

Still got all my BitCHcoins.  Grin

Not sure how it will play out but I like it as a hedge

I was going to do the same thing steelboy but I went for it last week and after a lot of fucking about managed to trade all the WuVEr coin for btc. I am aware the gap may close with btc fud and a WuVer coin pump but that's not guaranteed and I managed to boost my btc by 14%-15% so I was very happy with that.

It's such a basket case of a coin. But it's set to halve 3 years before us. Selling could be a big mistake. But meh.
Just because it halving was 3 years before us doesn't mean selling of the BCH would. Be a big mistake. In the future.

Yep, purely increase stash ... nothing more.
Like all altcoins, when the 2 bumps are gone, they ... plundge.

So, has anyone in here consulted an accountant?

I found one that understands cryptocurrencies but the quote he gave me was $500/hr with a $2k retainer. Seems a bit steep.

I'm not touching my cold wallets, so I'm still in BCH by default.

Because you value your privacy over a 15% bump in your stash, or because you see potential?

It is going to take me months to slowly offload my B cash. Lack of liquidity is the major reason. Selling all of it as that project has no future. Using Changely and Shapeshift as well to protect my privacy. Bit of a pain but worth it to avoid KYC exit.

Despite the EDA bug , Bitmain doesn't mind mining at a loss , because he can get 20% advantage over ASICBOOST and he wants this chain to survive so he can continue his unfair advantage.

This means no early halving for B Cash

See for yourself , they are mining mostly empty blocks to prevent EDA bug

P.S... whatever happened to Lambie? Do we have to wait for the next crash for him to come back?

I like to call this unknown miner the magical mystery miner.  Cheesy I strongly suspect that it is indeed Bitmain, but I have no definite proof. Anyone know how I can find out the IP of the magical mystery miner?

This mystery miner is supposedly Zhuo' Er Jiang from btc.top... but we all know they are controlled/partnered with Bitmain .

He was supposed to stop the EDA bug earlier ... but accidentally overslept ... lol .

Yes, I know about him. He also wasn't much of a mystery since he signaled that those blocks came from BTC.top. I'm just curious about the miner that is now mining almost 64% of the blocks, to keep the network on life support. Cheesy

Torque, what would be the purpose of that?
Bitcoin poses the biggest threat to the State, it is the largest and most decentralized cryptocurrency. The State can't control it or shut it down, and they were too late to try and co-op it by cornering the market (like they did with ETH, other pre-mined cryptos, etc.). They also know they can't buy off or manipulate the core development team. So the only game they have left is to sway people away from Bitcoin through social engineering and push them towards other alts, pre-mined and centralized crap that they CAN ultimately control or at least easily fk with.

What kind of coins DO they promote?

These guys were real slick...they started off promoting Bitcoin and only Bitcoin to their followers. Now their attitudes have begun to morph and show their true colors. Trojan horse operatives. They are now promoting BCH primarily, saying that it's the more legit version of Bitcoin. Also things like LTC, ETH, Dash, and a BUNCH of ICO tokens that we all know are complete rubbish. The whole goal is to push people away from Bitcoin now, and into other trash, or at least get people to diversify into a bunch of garbage cryptos. As if all cryptocurrencies are "created equal". It's all about stunting or slowing down the growth of Bitcoin long term.

I mean look at it, other than Bitcoin what other crypto has been under constant and relentless attack? Exactly none. Because none of the others pose any real threat to the State.

Monero has also been subjected to social attacks since its inception. The only coin more subversive than Bitcoin imho.

Salient point. The EDA bug persists. The loss of profit is constant and right now at a 25% lower profitability and lack of tx on B Cash I don't think that even covert ASICboost can make up for the losses. They are bleeding because this bug and must eventually address the problem , but the head dev Jihan hired isn't too ambitious at addressing it soon.

former core dev Mark Friedenbach

https://github.com/Bitcoin-ABC/bitcoin-abc/issues/75

offering to help solve the EDA bug in B Cash and lead dev deadalnix rejects offer.

Naive Hubris thinking BCH will overtake Bitcoin or wanting bug to persist to further antagonize everyone?

Either way, more reason to finish dumping BCH and reinvest in bitcoin.
