https://youtu.be/CHhcy_QQghU?t=13m15s

W T F   is that guys? Out of all the videos, only the first one was bearable (this one: https://youtu.be/hXRhIXp4idM), thanks to the pretty girls... How is it possible that people fall for this sh*t?

Damn!

Not skimpy enough for me, I'll pass on bitconnect this time :/

wow, all this uncertainty and we are holding 7K ish.  I was looking for a short term exit point (very small % JJG) but HODL has never done me wrong

also, I agree with ragnar0k, bitconnect needs to up their porn game

Price hovering around $7000. Good entry point, almost 10% down from ATH. I'm waiting for lower lows. With the imminent uncertainty I'm sure we'll get some more buying opportunities.  Cool

anyway, my 'rationalization' on HODL

What I would dump at the first chance given is my B2X coins, bitgold, and any other BTC forks that comes along.
I just need a safe way to do it.

You don't consider Coionomi safe?

come on...go down! I totally forgot to buy some in the 5500-7000 range  Cheesy

I wonder when most people realize that bitcoin is one of the technically most inferior coins out there  Tongue

Inquisitive whether 6k desire mastery as an alternative of 7k. Dead reckoning equitable and be rewarded.

So you want bitcoinunlimited to replace it and the core?

well, name me a coin that is

completely private (hides transactions, amounts, adresses etc.)
this includes fungibility
no transaction malleability
adaptive blocksize
faster difficulty adjustment
is asic proof
has inflation

Good morning Bitcoinland.

Still consolidating after yesterday's correction/profit-taking... currently $7054USD/$9027CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

AltCash also down a bit at $612USD/$780CAD (Coinmarketcap).

It looks like it doesn't want to go below $7k for long though. Is this a new bottom, at least until the fork?

I'm very not liking all this uncertainty around the fork/CME starting up. Everything I'm seeing suggests Segwit2x will have a small amount of miners, but people are talking doom.

I don't get it.

Has inflation (of supply ) which decays over time at a pre-determined rate

No doom from me. When I talk about a new pre-fork bottom I'm just anticipating the usual short-lived panic of weaklings and the reallocation of coins that were bought to be in on the fork.

I have no doubt that all my old paper wallets will increase in value.

You don't consider Coionomi safe?

I consider it safe enough to try to import my old wallets' btc keys (after moving my btc) and keep some of my alts in, so I'm going to try with that.

Two segwit branches fighting over 1M or 2M blocks feels irrelevant to me on a technical level. Both are almost the same, the diff in block size between 1M and 2M isn't that big. Its more like a battle of egos or a battle to gain control of the bitcoin brand, or an attempt to sack the core developers. Honey Badger don't care.

Or

From another point of view the problem is that forks are muddying the water, bitcoin as a concept was once clear but now is not. Additionally the limit of 21million has been cloned to 42million to 63million and so on, of different types.  So far bitcoin (or the chain that is perceived to be bitcoin) is continuing on happily but the seeds are being sown for the crypto winter to come.

Is that the DOOOM you speak of?

I love it when they say that on proS2X forums... I don't think they really have a clue of what open source is

Everything?

Well, there is the fact that the overwhelming majority of blocks are indicating support for S2X.

Yeah, I get it. Whether the stated preference is honored in the end is an unknown. I'm just pointing out that it takes a special type of myopia to be unable to see the most prevalent and the only non Sybil-able indication of preference.
