You're right fillippone, that's the rational thing to do. Pity because I'm decently set up if a big run up happens. I've left similar situations open for one month already a couple of times, and it paid out both times. But this time... uh, I must be getting old and wimpy. Long already closed, waiting for a $2 dip to trigger closing the short too.
Every old trader I have known I’m my life was wimpy. So if you want to be an old trader, yes, you have to be a little bit wimpy. Maybe it’s a necessary attitude to be successful as a trader in the long run... Thanks for your advice, Hairy. The conservative choice has less glitter but more peace of mind while I'm out. But the entry point on that long was sweet indeed... Peace of mind is highly underrated quality of every position

Thanks JSRAW! I'll do my best to come back with nice stories and bits - food porn in Mic's honor, maybe.
Take a street photo, we need another game!

@r0ach, what do you think of POMP ? Anyone who tweets 40 times a day about digital shitcoins is an idiot scammer. He's a retard carnival barker shill. He doesn't talk about ANY other subject either. It's just 24/7 overload of shitcoin scams. Who gives a flying fuck about digital shitcoins while the Jews are running false flags trying to repeal the 2nd amendment? There could be 50 nuclear bombs going off and this idiot would be talking about Dogecoin pump and dumps.

Although possibly for only seconds, you've just got that. And rather quick. The force is strong in your guardian angel. I asked for more than a week to get Bitcoin back to over 10000 EUR during my holiday and it was not granted.

Probably short lived.
My gut tells me we'll end this week below 12000.
The really big pump: next week.

Big pump next week means that altcoins will continuously massacred. I don't think so, hence I predict Bitcoin will be dumped next week.

Observing BTC @12,070 USD. whoops 11,690 Observing GOLD @1,502 USD. (highest point since April 2013)
Donald Trump sent Gold overshooting criticizing FED being too shy cutting rates (like 15 trln of negative yield bonds worldwide are not enough)
Some user would be celebrating for this move in Gold. All other user know what bullish gold implies for their favourite asset and are celebrating too!

The ‘Vault’ Is Back: Coder Revives Plan to Shield Bitcoin Wallets from TheftBasically, someone holding bitcoin primarily as a store of value could put it in cold storage, or hold it offline, with code that says it can be spent, but not immediately. The owner could set some pre-determined time delay on any attempt to move the coins. The fact that it has a built-in delay would give a true owner time to reverse a transaction if their private information had been compromised and someone tried to steal their crypto. Malte Möser, Ittay Eyal, and Emin Gün Sirer proposed this feature, known as “vaults,” as a way to better secure bitcoin in 2016, but their proposal required a fork of the protocol codebase. That fork never happened.
But on Wednesday, Bitcoin Core contributor and crypto consultant Bryan Bishop sent out a design to developers to accomplish the same thing using existing code. https://www.coindesk.com/the-vault-is-back-bitcoin-coder-to-revive-plan-to-shield-wallets-from-theftedit: https://lists.linuxfoundation.org/pipermail/bitcoin-dev/2019-August/017229.html
