Hodl coin (top right) is a crypto currency, but it's a shitcoin crypto currency, so it doesn't matter.

Sometime profitable shitcoin but really original bitcoin It hurts just as soon as it gives a profit and gets lost.

2 years ago, I thought SegWit2x was the best path forward for Bitcoin. I‘ve since come to realize that it was extremely dangerous & irresponsible to push for a contentious hard fork w/o replay protection, esp. when there wasn’t consensus. Mea culpa!
Bitcoin is the real Bitcoin.

I am not sure whether the contents of that tweet rises to the level of an admission against interest, or a fair and legit apology.

Probably the latter is fine - even though his welcome back to bitcoin should be a kind of probationary period, and he had shown some of his true colors in attempting to act strong-handedly against consensus, and surely it is likely somewhat better to apologize than to never do it.

Region of confluence that could help trigger the next sustained uptrend...

Interesting Vision of the Crypto Dog, Mitoshi Kaku:

Major confluence coming for $BTC in terms of dates, and walking along that 45 angle too. (Early Bullish Signal, in terms of trends). With matching cycle pivots on the 1W/1M. Time to pay attention!🧐 #CryptoIkagi

I would take a Margarita (most of the time), but you probably will go for the White Russian Tongue

Nice assortment of cocktails btw... so much to try out all night long!

Cheers!

I can't make you understand that hearsay is only bad when applied to court room trials.

Absolutely. Because it is not true. You accused a person of nefarious behavior without evidence of such. Kicking s person when they are down is playground bully behavior, and should be discouraged. Period.

The definition of "hearsay" isn't something that "is not true"; its something that isn't adequately substantiated. I provided you a chain of links with substantiating evidence, but if that's not adequate for you, again, that's out of my control.

Also, who did I kick when they were down? You or the guy who "lost" their coins? If them, I assure you they didn't feel it.

Where do you get the idea that I think the definition of hearsay is something that is not true? You accused the person of nefarious behavior, with zero evidence to that effect.

Sorry to distract ya'll from an apparent dick measuring contest...

What's your take on perpetual trusts?
Here is Guardian's:
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/nov/14/the-great-american-tax-haven-why-the-super-rich-love-south-dakota-trust-laws

I think that this would be relevant to bitcoin later on.
There are lots of "golden nuggets" in this article.
The main conclusion is that we might be changing the society by allowing perpetual trusts (details in the article).

This golden nugget is relevant to some US bitcoiners right now. How many will be moving to South Dakota before cashing out to avoid capital gains tax?

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/nov/14/the-great-american-tax-haven-why-the-super-rich-love-south-dakota-trust-laws

Quote
South Dakota has no income tax, no inheritance tax and no capital gains tax

The perpetual trusts thing seems a massive deal, and probably will be relevant to Bitcoin later on.

Well, hold your horses, there are still federal taxes, including capital gains tax. It's not written very clearly.
The only no cap gains tax for US citizens is the Puerto-Rico deal, but it is only until 2035 and only on cap gains AFTER you domesticated/moved your assets there.
Plus, you HAVE to reside there 183 days/year.

Yes but federal taxes don’t apply to offshore assets owned by foreigners. This is about tax rorts for foreigners, not Yanks

Everyone's question is whether the halving has been priced in already or not.

You wish there was a crypto-bubble. The only things that are in a bubble right now are stocks and garbage silver/gold.
