I eat plenty of meat and my farts are definitely deadly enough WITHOUT adding diesel to the mix, well at least according to my wife Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Hmm. Ok.

But I'd like to see you achieve and post the evidence of at least one extinction before the weekend is over.

A little more than common engines, overall it's an up from 35% to about 70% efficiency.

EDIT: off to sleep, soon dreaming about new ATH  Grin

Care to explain why?

Caring about the environment is for pussies. You're supposed to eat raw meat and fart diesel fumes if you want to be a right wing Alpha in this day and age. If you want to prove yourself go bleach a coral reef and burn down a rain forest.

Targeting a bounce within next 5 days to hit underside of triangle @ $9500 - $9600.

But hang onto your hats if we blow through the bottom side of the triangle, cause we might blow through the topside too.

This is the relief rally post-Bakkt now that everyone has realized the world is not ending.

Here childhood has been stolen? nha..

that must be the dumbest pic I've seen in a long while
How it's dumbest? Can you explain?
I will say one should feel sad looking at those kids working at this age while they were to go to school.
He is a commie. Of course he thinks that picture is stupid.

Greta is not working, Greta is talking and traveling the world as politicians do. Greta is playing. Greta will probably be one of the world leaders in the future while the other children would die.
It is a dumbest pic.

Greta is a psychopath. She is a child and her labor is being used by even bigger psychopaths.

The primary problem with Hydrogen is storage and transport.  Steel tanks look like cheesecloth to Hydrogen.

Think about it, from what do you fabricate a container for the smallest of all elements?

I worry about the future due to the way we are building our seasteads.

The hurricane free zones of the ocean make up 3 times the space as there is habitable land.

Each of our seasteads grows a coral ecosystem underneath.

Coral reefs harbour the highest biodiversity of any ecosystem globally and directly support over 500 million people worldwide, mostly in poor countries.

If we make enough seasteads to cover more than 3 times the habitable space in the world, with the amount of coral that goes along with it...

we may start running out of CO2 due to the coral.

Solution?

We need more humans. Both to live and buy the seasteads, and to create precious CO2 to feed the coral and other plants of the world.

How do we create more humans?

Sex.

Ocean Builders needs to encourage people to have more sex if they are going to live on seasteads.

And as the ocean is just the next frontier on the way to colonizing space...we need a lot more humans for the future.

So stop worrying about everything you may be concerned with now...and start figuring out how to have more sex.

Greta should know what she is talking about then.

Edit although apparently the above claim is a bit misleading as the father is “distantly related”.  Many Swedes are likely “distantly related” to each other.

I know it sounds impossible. But any chance to see 1-2k?? I have cash lying around and I seriously would go all in on these levels.

That would be dumb to wait for that price level.

Not even after 30 years, I guess.
I think by this time, it will hit again below $5,000... If it strikes the $7,000 during 1st week of October then the possibility of having a Pump will be a slight crucial. The much possibility is it will go down deeper. So, gonna stick with $5,000 and expect nothing more.

Well, you are likely correct, cabalism that when the BTC price goes down in several legs, taking us to nearly 45% retracement with the current local low of $7,734, then those lower prices become more possible, and we cannot presume an immediate reversal of the price momentum.

Bears (or maybe more properly referred to as bearwhales) are going to attempt to keep BTC's price going down as long as they still have momentum, and when we are still only a few percentage above $7,734, then we cannot rest assured that the bottom is "in".  I feel a lot more comfortable when the price has corrected 15% or 20% from the local bottom before I might to resume thinking about "up."  So, yeah, getting above $9k or so would be a good sign.

I am NOT sure about what level of down is reasonable, and surely, even a spike down to $5k would not necessarily take us out of our bull market, unless the BTC price sustainably stays below $7k or even $6k for a prolonged time.  $7k is just a bit above a 50% retracement... which would be a bit much of a retracement, except if it was merely just a flash crash sort of happening.

I hate to put odds on various happenings, but getting below $6k would still seem to be less than 50/50 odds, in my thinking because that would more than  55% retracement.  Never say never in BTC-landia, but a 55% retracement seems a bit much, and surely would contribute to shaking a lot of weak hands - if that price is successfully cared out.

This is not possible. Nature is a self-balancing system. More plants more oxygen more animals, and a new balance is eventually reached. Of course, if people actually believe we need more co2, well, we have a solution for that.

Protesters filled the streets of Montreal today with Greta in solidarity to fight climate change.  Sadly, government measures will be regressive and likely a heavy finacial burden on the no-coiners.  How long will it be before the same people begging for climate action in Montreal don yellow vests to protest the taxes they are begging for today?
We managed to fix the ozone problem with a cfc ban.  We managed to fix the acid rain problem with some technological advances.  I have no doubt we will remedy the climate change issue but the longer we wait, the more painful it will be financially speaking.  Another global recession would do wonders for the climate issue.  It's likely the only way China's and India's CO2 emmsiions are going to be significantly lowered in the near term.  Not sure how long we really have before there is no recovering.

Hydrogen will probably be the future in some manner just due to the simple fact it's the most abundant element in the universe while also being an energy source.  The problem is that the environment pre-segregates other fuel sources like oil or wood for you where you can just pick it up and set it on fire to generate energy, while you have to spend energy to segregate hydrogen to turn it into fuel.

Turning water into 1 kg of hydrogen with electrolysis uses 39 kWh of power, while the 1 kg of hydrogen is a 33 kWh metastable energy source.  It's a net negative reaction in otherwords.  That is not to say the hydrogen is useless.  It gives you 33 kWh of portable power vs 10 kWh or so in diesel.  It sounds like miracle fuel until you take into account it takes up an enormous amount of space unless you spend large amounts of additional power to liquify the hydrogen, while also being a net negative energy gain with oil being a positive energy gain.

Even though hydrogen creation is a net negative energy reaction, if you utilize 'free' energy to create it (i.e. solar, geothermal, dams, etc) then it becomes somewhat useful again solely as a portable energy source for vehicles.  Unless you can lower the friction to creating hydrogen to be net positive instead of net negative, it seems like it's main application is solely vehicles where power density of fuel is one of the main concerns, otherwise you would skip the generation of hydrogen and use the solar, wind, nuclear, or dam power directly.  If battery storage got exponentially better, you would then also skip hydrogen generation completely and send the electric power straight to the batteries too.  So hydrogen power is currently mostly based around the idea of batteries always being bad.

Soon we'll be making graphene from CO2 for use in graphene/graphene oxide hydrogen fuel cells.  Global warming crisis averted.
