About the death cross....there are different types of those and not all of them are considered bearish. We also have a different types of head and shoulders pattern. Not all of those are tradable.

Was of a bit, just coming to say...... I think BoB is gonna like this late morning  Kiss #nohomo

All of you folk, are my total #nohomo friends. Rick and I are married, so, I'm entirely off the market either way.

I'm just sad, in a way, that I will never be able to reasonably break opsec, and meet with some of you folks in meatspace  Undecided

Now, if *the real* Theymos was to show up to any party, I might change my mind, shake the dude's hand, buy him a beverage, while whispering Illuminati things-and-stuff into his ear. No homo.

Dammit BoB, you absolutely not need to reply to this post (You just got that respect from me you don't need to add anything to what i'm gonna say Cheesy )

But you just make me curious man, are we talking with some kind of celebrity or crucial politician figure or something??  Grin

Though remember when you're in Belgium and have some feeling of F*** it i'm gonna reach out to that WO brother.... Then I will drop gold Eeeuhm everything with what i'm busy at that time and just come over to drink a beer, eat something or do whatever ...  #noHOMO

Also never insult you're WO brothers of preferring a meet with our overlord theymos of the forum instead of those you interact with almost every day  Wink

Please BTC, do DilDo us a bit more....

@yefi , first we need to break 8800/8900 , there are 3 resistance lines and then we have descending line higher around 9500.

RU kidding ?

Now that Mr Xi has said the "real" currency war is over crypto and not $USD, no amount of resistance is going to prevent a skyrocketing to the upside. Market just blasted through $8400 where it was trying to correct but didn't get a chance.

....look, just hit 8700. nearly at 9.

Problem is too much demand and not enough coins to satisfy that demand.
This is what spurred the 12% rise in price within 30 minutes of the the news China is leading the way to blockchain with it being shown on a national republic broadcast of a woman holding a book called mastering blockchain.

Blame it on China!
I think China has enough coins. They are mining all of it from owning 81% of all bitcoin pools.

Are we allowed to discuss EtHeReUm in here?

Not really but since I liked that screen shot, I'll give you a go. Wink This is good news. That shitcoin was never designed to work anyway. It is all coming to surface finally. Grab your popcorns it will be a massive shit show for eth. I bet lots of people will want to refuse 2.0 and stay with 1.0. (1.0 is still shit but from what I read I can say it is still better than 2.0)

I hope everybody bought some from 7.5k btw. That was our last chance to buy cheap probably and it is gone.

They're almost the same thing - but only if settlement date of the options coincides with that of the underlying future.
The settlement date will be 4 days before the expiry date of the futures.
Quote
The last trading/expiration day for each option contract month is the second Exchange business day prior to the last trading day of the underlying futures contract month. The underlying monthly futures contract expires on the 3rd Friday of the month with the last trading day on the Wednesday before expiration; accordingly, the Bitcoin Option Contract will expire on Monday of that week.
[...]
Rule 24.C.08. Exercise of Options
Options on Bakkt Bitcoin (USD) Monthly Futures Contracts are European style options and may only be exercised on the Last Trading Day of the Option Month.

Quote
Edit: I saw the message from Javi on the choice between physical or cash settlement of the options. I don’t know his source, but it looks very odd to me, but everything is possible.
If I know more, I will let you know.
This choice is a bit fishy. Fractional reserves maybe? Tu quoque, Bakkt?
I really don't know.
I unleashed my spies in the financial system to have thios mistery solved for you, fellow mates.
I hope your spies won't blame me if I share some highly secret documents here... Roll Eyes LOL
https://www.docdroid.net/JAWYLRr/19-307-bitcoin-options.pdf

As I said in my precedent post the settlement will be in futures contracts, in positions on the market. So if the caller wants BTCs he will keep his long position opened until the futures settlement and if he prefer money instead he will close his position (or roll it).

Quote
The  Clearing  Member  representing  the  Option  buyer  shall  be assigned  a  long  position  in  the  Underlying  Futures  Contracts  if  a  Call  is  exercised  or  a  short position in the Underlying Futures Contract if a Put is exercised.
(d) All Bakkt Bitcoin (USD) Monthly Futures Contract positions shall be assigned at a price equal to the Strike Price of the Option.

[...]
Quote
Options will settle into Bakkt’s monthly bitcoin futures contract with time to roll, close out positions or take physical delivery

Maybe, but that's not something new.
China promoted bitcoin through their national banks before so we could get their mesage where they are going.

Here is a thread from July 2019
Bank Of China Is Promoting Bitcoin And It Sounds Very Bullish!

Still didn't make it outside the big descending triangle.
In fact it bounced downward right at the top of it.

Bullish, but still waiting until Q1/2020 to pass by.

Hello again there my freiends. I make a new pridiction about the TA. Readjustmant of my previous one. Today we can expect again another low in the comeing days.
Base on the priore low we touch, the violence in the chart can explain the move today on the BULL TRAP. Its again a good tiem to sale all BTC in remaineing portfolio until again it reach low of 2-3k per Bitcoin.

As I am not a programmer nor expert in crypto, I have arrived at HODLing some 1% (of my net), the minimum that JJG suggests above.  1% is probably close to what I understand BTC to be.  Risks and rewards are both high.  1% is the right amount for me in that if BTC price craters, it changes very little for me.  If it climbs to a nice ATH, well great!

If you're only willing to put 1% of your money in something, it's definitely not an 'investment'.  A high risk, pump and dump scam maybe, but only willing to risk 1% is not an investment.  To me the word investment implies you actually have confidence in what you're purchasing, and 1% is not confidence.  That would be gambling, not investing (from the relative viewpoint of the individual).

Actually, according to my economics 101 class the only investment a private person can make is purchase of real estate, everything else is consumption.

So they can only invest in something they do not own.

You own real estate don't you?

You rent/lease real estate from the government.

Try not paying your "rent" some time and see if you own it.

I honestly don't know what you are talking about Elwar, I own real estate and i pay no rent nor enything else to the government or the state.
Could you please elaborate.
