So we have been dump and dumped by China.
They "dump" out tons of false news that causes the price to drop big time and then swoop up the cheap BTC. . .

Yes but its not planned for implementation until 2016. That figure doesn't mean a whole lot, if it passes there's little to stop it being brought forward, but its a nice comfortable looking 'long way away' figure for the media.

Now that you mention it, in 2016 we will have bitcoin reward halving! Imagine what a bull bitcoin will be!

ALL ABOARD!!!! CHOOOO CHOOOO!!!

Lol, yes, Cyprus 2 on a continental scale Smiley

I've been saying that to folks ever since that IMF paper came out. It's all small talk now. But once they decide to do it it will be BOOM flat tax - shaving 100k+ accounts over night. They will do it fast and quick (almost without warning - yet warnings are here today) so people wont be able to run.

Wait a minute, just wait a goddam minute, I think I'm getting some bad news from sources...

I love looking for patterns.  Most of the time im off the mark somewhat.  But i look all the same!

ya its fun. its pointless, but its fun.

Well-timed, large sells every time price threatens to break upwards... I wonder if someone knows something we don't.

everyone thinks everyone else thinks bitcoin is in a bear market.

a good sign that we are almost done the bear market  Wink

Well pointless but so far it's following the same patten as before, A small dip, followed by a small rise, just need a bigger dip now and patten complete.

Lol, china wins for curves this time and stamp gets disqualified for turtling Smiley

In reality.. the smartest people are those on BTCChina waiting for all time lows if this exchange is going down.. hey all my cash into btc sell at another exchange when the prices stabilizes....and while I am at it I'll just move to a country that likes human rights and I can do so now that my fiat is in btc except for the plane, train or automobile ticket.

Except they don't realize their country is shit any more than Americans do.

come to Canada then, were not so bad. But no where is really perfect can't wait till Goat buys an island and we can move there and start a btc only community.

I know this got buried, but Goat at least 2 people are willing to vote you for El Presidente of your own Island lol I'll pitch some btc if were getting a share of the island Cheesy

Been looking at islands for a while now but btc still has a way to go before this happens.

Well keep us in the loop a btc pool to start a new civilization sounds like fun. Wasn't suggesting the Island had to be in Canada ..but let choose somewhere safe from most global warming and tsunami's not caused by meteors bigger the a football field hitting the ocean.

+1 To all good things about this idea. I can build things, actual things... like houses and furniture-- I'm basically a sustainable carpenter/builder who's switching into coding, as I've gotten bored of building (kinda). I could put together a nice natural compound FWIW.

It is not an island, but in a pretty remote part of Malibu:

aaaah, the smell of denial.

And here I was, thinking this downtrend might be over already... but there you are, guys, coming up with all kinds of explanations why "price is kept down artificially".

Funny, because there's much less conspiracy around when the price is going up, huh?

anyway....

I've said it before, but it bears (nudge, nudge) repeating: I'm not too happy about it, but I don't see a real chance that we're just going to continue our previous rally right now. We'll consolidate first for a while, or go down deeper. At least that's the most likely scenario I see for now.

To me this is classic head and shoulders pattern - we should prepare for further losses in the next few days.

A lot of the 'non-traders' are going to lose interest and cash out if they have made a profit, or cut their losses if they bought at the top. Things will become more stable after Xmas IMO and we'll be back to business as normal, most of us will be happy when we buy in at low, low rates.

As for the tax issue, this has always been the biggest threat IMO - they will introduce it quickly and I wouldn't be surprised if it's given it's own special status with rates somewhere above the normal capital gains / commodity tax rates.

I still love the concept of bitcoin and even though I see big challenges ahead I'll be investing again when it reaches a reasonable rate.

We surely might not start rally tomorrow or in a week but you wouldn't want to be not ready once when it starts.

This is not April Bitcoin anymore, the good news can't come faster then they are. All China's shit and we're still at 700$, imagine what would happen with price few months ago.

The honey badger will fly... soon, very soon.

Everyone is waiting for a crash now, therefore no crash will come mark my words. Now all the idiots are waiting around after the crash they sold on, telling themselves the have insider info that another crash is coming... lol. Better luck next time. slow rise with turbulence, followed by a rocket ship.

Just woke up to find I'm STILL waiting for my fiat deposit (Dec 12, 8:30AM -supposedly 2-3 business days) to go through. Hope I didn't miss the bottom.

Come on my (temporary) fellow bears. Keep panic selling on FUD and misinterpreted news. I'm counting on you.

P.S. I'm too lazy to make a "Boo hoo, my bitcoins are still worth what they were yesterday" meme.   Grin
