600.

Fuck me dead.

Thats ummm 120 USD rise in about 3 minutes.

let it settle first.

Looking at Blockchain.info the next few blocks add up to nearly 100K in Bitcoin. So, this ain't over.

Those also include newly bought coins and change. So it's hard to say

It's quite optimistic to think people would be moving the coins off the exchange, and not, say, from a Chinese Exchange to MtGox or Bitstamp, where someones cousin can withdraw the cash no problem. :-)

This is why I tell people bitcoin will succeed. Any amount can be moved around the world in minutes. While I'm on the phone for hours with "personal bankers" who are supposed to be there for you 24/7, and still can't get a wire into any exchange in a timely fashion. This is my money, and my clients money, we should be able to move it wherever we want. We're talking 10s of millions, not some small transfer where they'll screw around with you for calling late at night.

ughhh who are you again?

Doesnt china news mention that the option to deposit will return in the future?

no I thought btcchina said it was temp but what would you say.......china gov't has be careful to squash it in stages so people can get $$$ back..but the trend seems to me to sit on btc
and if not outright ban it make it no longer desirable to use esp as a way to move currency overseas.....probably next step is to lock out foreign exhchanges via inet like gox ...my be symbolic only but will tell the Chinese folk trending towards bitcoin that the party is over and they will probably move back to real estate or other endeavors that china gov't is more comfortable with

again imho

no it is squashed in china imho..the only hope is usa and Europe pulling us out on the idea of cheap coin (or not shudder) imho I know squat remember

Ok, we've been stable for 20 minutes. Time to go all honey badger again.

there have been many of these moments lately. I'll chill the fuck out when someone buy 2.5k coins in a single buy.

also to the doom and gloom about China.. why don't we wait for them to actually say something. We know they were asked to stop using third party deposit systems and Chinese companies love to self censor so we just need to let them show us what their Government decided was the new way to deposit as well if they do.
