What is this theory of shaking out speculators by price crash everyone keeps talking about? "Sharply falling prices will ris us of all the idiots that are poisoning the btc ecosystem and then we can start healthy growth again, only when we cool pple are left"
Am I the only one to find this argument utterly s.. silly?
nope, I agree with it 100%, most of Bitcoiners jumped in because of the price going up... you know the get rich kids, when the price crash (like there will be no tomorrow) these kids will dump the whole scene, which is perfect for Bitcoin to develop and prepare for the real mass adoption, the real thing that it was meant and designed for, and without these kids we can fix so many Broken things Bitcoin have. So you think young people that bought in the 2013november rise are bitcoin's problem and shaking them off will make everything all cuddly and healthy again? You think they prevent all the smart serious pple from fixing whats broken in bitcoin? How much have you donated to core devels? But lets drop the "kids" for a moment, whats stopping a malicious player to come back in after a crash? He would only be able to buy more btc and have more influence, if his schemes worked before they would work again. So adoption can start only after pple stop adopting it? I really dont get it.

...Also having the courage to take a position when the time is right. And that opportunity window may only be a few minutes.
Bro, you've been "all in" since the top of the bubble & never sold AFAIK. Where do you get this "when the time is right" crap when you've been so consistently & hilariously wrong for over a year? For just over a year. Welcome to the forum, newfriend. You're clearly young, so let me give you a helping hand: A trader who has been consistently wrong for over a year is a useless trader. Never take advice from a trader who has been wrong for over a year. Listen to psychics, to your cat if you must, but ignore the idiot who has been wrong for over a year. If you have any more questions, just go ahead and ask Yes, and the troll with no conviction except one to criticize others is certainly someone you should listen to. Correct. Nothing dumber than listening to a butthurt idiot talking his book & failing. Nothing worse than watching someone with talent waste it. It's time to take responsibility for your life, lambchop, whoever you are. If I prevent just a few rubes from losing their money in this scheme, my time here is well-spent. Even if I fail to instill the rudiments of financial acumen into you and your ilk

Fun times, fun times, buying like crazy!!! Don't care the drops, I spread my budget and keep buying. There are too many companies that have invested millions in Bitcoin related ventures, it's and economy of it's own which will level out higher once the dumping has stopped.
Investing 50$ is not buying like crazy. Just stop this bullshit. Most suckeres here are below 18 and do not even have 1 btc.

This is absolutly crazy but maybe we have seen a bottom at $200 USD now. I just read that the difficulty just rose to 43,971,662,056.09 the other night, this with the low price can mining be substained for much longer.
2 questions, If something could be done to stop this ship from sinking, like some back up plan Gavin might have, 1. What might that plan be? 2. Who would have the final decision if some big change was decided?
Lol, love seeing supporters of P2P unbacked decentralised currency asking what "they" have planned to save this Titanic

He holds thousands of bitcoins, enough to retire comfortably. But he has been cashing them in slowly, investing in stock market funds instead.
“Bitcoin is wild and crazy investment that I’m diversifying out of all the time,” he says. “If bitcoin is wildly successful, I’m still holding on to a good chunk of bitcoin. It could be worth tens of millions of dollars, but it could be worth zero. It doesn’t make sense to hold more than that amount. I don’t have a desire to be a multi-billionaire. That’s not what motivates me, I have no desire to be filthy rich.” When you are more of a cultist than Bitcoin's lead developer, then you know you're in trouble. This is absolutly crazy but maybe we have seen a bottom at $200 USD now. I just read that the difficulty just rose to 43,971,662,056.09 the other night, this with the low price can mining be substained for much longer.

only an idiot lets their credit card get hacked ... and your credit card fees include costs for all the other idiots who let their cards get hacked and the idiot companies that 'secure' all the massive credit card databases ... basically its a bog hack system that costs a lot of of money to keep patching up secure bitcoin properly and it never gets hacked and you never pay more than you have to, or paying for others incompetence. PS: you're credit card was basically worthless last time i looked anyway

yes getting hacked is more than bitcoin can ever do. yet they offered me a solution for e-transactions which can't be hacked anymore. They protected me from myself and i'm thankful for that. Also, my money is safe in my banks unlike crypto addicts who can't quit their screen all day long and fears for their bag value every hour of every day. Thanks to them i feel peaceful.
