Bitcoin and stock market are both nose diving today. I guess no more early retirement for me. Given my bitcoin losses this week, it seems that the Lord wishes for me to die with my work boots on.

I take it that your not a believer in our heavenly Father? If you have faith in Jesus, then you are already a wealthy man. How many bitcoins would you trade for your life? Or for your arm? Jesus bestowed those riches to each and every one of us.

Bitcoin and stock market are both nose diving today.

Indeed, the resemblance is striking:
BTC:USD, 1 year
Dow-Jones Industrial Average, 1 year

They are absolutely dying to get in. But at the right price. When all the weak hands are shaking.

A little bit of reality is finally coming back to bitcoin.

Sold all my litecoins and bitcoins months ago. There was no point in treating them like an investment when the whole premise of them increasing in value was the greater fool theory in action. Just because business adopted bitcoin as a form of payment did not mean they would increase in value. The opposite could just as easily be true.

I am completely out. No mining, no holding, no nothing. And I see no reason to buy back in right now. The money is more useful in other ventures.

But I have to admit. Bitcoin puts on a hell of a show!

You've been around since 2011
what makes you think it's over now?
