Longs went beyond full retard $17.5MM guessing they're trying to make a quick buck leveraging Kim Dotcom news? Had a short squeeze now time for a long squeeze?

a leveraged position blew up. On such a low volume? prob. just a glitch It may not have been a margin call. It was prolly someone 20:1 long lost his nerve when he saw the chart sinking.

Seems that the fiat's being adjusted as it's years end... Who knows what's cooking behind? Ask side is looking thin but again those $17.6MM (and growing) in longs had A LOT to do with that. If not for that i'd be really bullish

If not for that i'd be really bullish I can only speak for myself, but the reason why I am margin long is because I have no fast way to send fiat to BFX. I send BTC there to tweak my bids and asks because I can't do that with coinbase as I live in one of the states where their trading platform isn't regulated yet. I always keep my liquidation price in double digits, so I'm not over-leveraged. yes, there will be a correction at some point, but it may go up significantly before then. There's still a lot of upward momentum.

I gotta say, coinbase exchange volume and order book is filling out nicely for being a month into the game.
I remember when every big spike would be met with THE one trading site going down (the original goxxings) and a precipitous crash to follow. This is going to be a wild ride for a few years to come, but at least we have gone from one point of failure to many. You have to perceive progress with the wide view, and not just today's exchange rate on today's market.

Each step up from here is likely to be met with substantial resistance.
Markets are more plentiful and mature, as are the players.
Sideways with a slight upward incline is my guess, with the inevitable spikes and dips, but nothing like the moonshots and dub-step style drops of the past.
Just a guess of course, this is bitcoin after all, anything can happen.
