Winklevoss twins speaking about Bitcoin at SXSW tomorrow in Texas, surprised no one has mentioned this. I didn't even know about it until my wife told me that she's going to watch.
I guess their speaking engagements are so prevalent that it's taken for granted these days. I wonder when Gemini will be live and rolling. It should be soon. SXSW is a pretty huge festival in the US, so it will get the attention of a young demographic. All of the biggest PR and ad agencies are there promoting clients' products... that's exactly why the wife is there. I'm interested in what they have to say. Sen. Rand Paul is there too making his case to the audience about what he has to offer and I'm so proud that he's there alongside the W's and corralling the devotees into his camp as there is no where else to go if you believe in liberty. Got a problem with Rand at this point?

There will be no run to 300 tonight, I've made a serious mistake today.
I hope you didn't pay too much for the coins but that old folk stuff is no one's fun-tip around these parts. It would be interesting if those types of elder folks would buy in general, let alone at a time like this in such a large sampling.

First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they regulate you, then they win. Also attempting to regulate the internet through the guise of "net neutrality" These guys don't know how to quit. They won't stop until they have complete control.

RIP Stamp, it was a good run.
Yup, totally left in the dust, just had to refresh to make sure the feed hadn't crashed. they still have 10-15k daily volume, with their fees that's probably around 1000 BTC of profit monthly. Hardly RIP.

I wonder how many employees bitstamp has, and how they pay them. Other than employees and hosting, I doubt their expenses are higher than any small business...

People are only saying RIP because it used to be a volume leader. 1000BTC profit as estimated above though means thats far from the case.

So... 18 months of $0 expenses and they hit even, after their hot wallet got legs. Sorry if I'm not overly confident on their future competitiveness in this sphere.

Bitcoin is going to break 400 tonight and nobody cares They would if it happened. I can't see a compelling reason why. It's welcome to if it wants to in my book.

Bitcoin is going to break 400 tonight and nobody cares hahahahahaha If that were true, a lot of people would care. Breaking $300 would be a good start, and then breaking $350 would be another continuance of a trend.... Seems almost impossible to have such a rally past $400 without any precipitating reason.

Well, it hasn´t seemed to be on the verge of the next collapse for several weeks now which hopefully is a good sign. Good luck, g

There are a lot of skeptics that this alone will be the spark to lead to the next rally (I'm talking about their exchange). It's an overestimated aspect if you want my opinion. Besides there were a lot of other bullish news that the market didn't even care for. The ETF on the other hand...
