Here is a snippet from the article: http://www.forbes.com/sites/thomasbrewster/2015/03/18/evolution-market-a-scam-says-site-pr/Reddit users seeking out mob justice believe they have found the Bitcoin wallet address that at least one of the admins is using to draw in Evo’s funds. It has seen an influx of large sums of Bitcoin in the last week, with its total now at 43,083 BTC, the equivalent of $12.2 million at the current exchange rate. There’s no proof that wallet isn’t legitimate, however.
https://blockchain.info/address/1Ps2m56aEudGVKj7ch8mAje4x6bBzGVNgU?sort=0 that address is where they are getting the 43,000 "stolen" btc from, but it has a total received BTC of 43,000 with only a few thousand being received in the past 1-2 weeks. Most of it has been dispersed to other addresses with only about 900 btc left in it currently. Either way though the owners of Evo could potentially be selling off their bitcoins currently, but if I were them I would do it very slow over a long period of time otherwise it may make them more obvious targets to exchanges (and thus potentially Law enforcement) who was running Evo.

This could turn ugly for the guy... Running away with 43K is A LOT of money even at these prices, but not enough to be vanished. Hope he returns the funds...

So they had some sort of multisig escrow, except that withdrawals/spends from funded wallets did not require users signatures?

Lets not forget that they stole from drugs and arms dealers too....this isn't exactly nice Mt. Gox trading businesses that they stole from... As far as bitcoin price goes we have been seeing higher highs and higher lows since mid February, this dip back down to the low $280's is breaking that trend

Holy shit! We are getting 200+BTC dumps at a time on finex! I seriously just hope this is the Evo admins dumping their coins so we can move past this....
Edit: Market absorbed a 2200 total market sell within 5 mins with only a $3 decrease in price. Not bad for a change, this usually would have induced some panic selling but market is slightly recovering.

Somebody's dumping hard... $280 broken @ Bitstamp. I wish this didn't happen. I liked the price monotony!

Ooops, my bad. Spoke too soon. I let the karma monkeys out... Everything point towards the dump. Probably into the 250$ range once again, sigh.
I don't see it this way. The news in the bitcoin world are positive and promising. There's also a decent amount of confidence in the price since we broke the downtrend. But we have arguably had the best news for bitcoin in the last few weeks, and thankfully few new scams ( no mega scam anyway, but they are still brewing) yet the price is still stagnant, moving only in a vague pump and dump cycle every few days.

Finex is steadily supporting the price dumps. Podyx? Are you catching the falling red knives? I'm a buyer at ~260-268, which I will believe we'll see in the coming few days. Possibly tomorrow even. The evolution news could add a bit of fuel to it though and we might reach 255, I don't know.

The Biggest Drug And Gun Market On The Dark Web Just Disappeared And Millions Of Bitcoin With It It had become a bigger, badder version of the Silk Road drug bazaar in its short life, but Evolution, founded on 14 January last year, has apparently been closed and one staffer is claiming the admins have scammed its huge user base. You're getting the stolen BTCs and then creating a 10K dump on Wednesday morning. That's the way to do it... what a douche.
