It's happening. Longs are going to get margin called. @ 224 right now!
The funny thing is that the majority of longs will not close anytime soon. They will close only if when it goes in the 100s or double digits. Like it happened on the downtrend before the $150 crash, the real long squeeze happened relatively near the bottom. It's like a lot of longers don't close as price goes down and stay severly underwater for a long time until they are margin called completely. Don't know what they are thinking tbh Ergo: real fireworks will start in a few weeks in the 100s. Yeah true that. Market still shows $26m in longs. |

I honestly think bitcoin is going to be done within 2-3 years.
These price slumps just aren't sustainable.
Who is going to be interested in an asset that's constantly losing value.
I'm a HODLER but I fear for bitcoin.

No long margin cascade yet
Probably no update on bitfinex yet. That drop sure was full of margin calls... Finex engine was selling big. Actually, it changed from 25.9m to 25.6 in the last few hours. So 300k less longs. |

NO, you will act like a perma bulltard once fake recover (ie: $200 bounce to $207) happens again. You always did that. dead cat bounces always make you hope again! Blah blah blah. Blah. Am i right about what i say he is? |

All done at 225? Hobble along here for a while, I think.
In the last few months, I have been having some difficulties understanding the recent BTC price performance, especially being stuck int he $200s price range... and I really do NOT understand the current price drop... Can anyone (like a NON-troll) give some reasonable explanation for this situation? I'm thinking that a decent price stability point would be well above $700... .. but I seem to be off by at least a factor of three (and even more)... Wowza... |

Whether due to retailers accepting bitcoin and converting it into fiat, manipulation, miners, hacked bitcoin sells, or a combination of all the above, not enough has yet changed to reverse the trend. It's changing for sure, but fairly gradually. |

Why no weekend pump? Will we not have a mid week dump either?
Bears seem to stop selling around this price almost every time.
This week will be interesting.... or painfully flat.
There is sometimes a late Sunday dump. The late Sunday dump was so late it happened on Monday! |
