Not sure I've seen this thread so dead.

Even the bears are bored.
not much happening with the price and that could be the reason, i am getting bored with BTC price like other people  Tongue
Yeah me too.
The Winkledouches need to hurry up with their projects.
I think even the new exchange wouldn't have any impact on price, what else they are planning to do?

A full blown bona fide BTC etf, not like Barrys sandbox.

When GBTC starts trading we will see some big movement - maybe not right away but in next two months. And I find GBTC even better than Coin ETF since new GBTC share holders will need to hold their shares for next 12 months  Wink
Many of current holders will sell their shares way above market price (bitcoin) and they will be able to get in again lower. They already were able to buy shares directly from BIT so this will be easy money for them.

No offense, but you're thinking small. Think bigger. The GDP of the US is ~15 trillion. That's peanuts compared to the wealth being handled by Wall Steet every year. If a nats fart of that money goes into BTC its market cap will increase dramatically. Even if it's mostly buying and selling, the scope will be much larger.

There's much to be said about the delayed GBTC, Gemini, COIN and Ethereum launches lately.  Everyone is waiting for the impending hype cycle.  It is coming....but when?!?

They're such huge, highly sensitive, highly regulated areas.
Things are going to be checked over, verified & searched a million times.

OTC-bid is at 370$, but no one is selling for 370$.

Even the bears are bored.

Everyone's on the new forum xD (but you gotta pay to join!)

I've read about it - Elwar's 'big' news.
Load of crap.
Count me out.

What is it and why do I need it?

Yeez Louise!
Am I the only one who got backflashes from Bioshock reading that?
A barge full of rich people in international waters. I wonder what pirates will make of that.
Funny thing is, ethereum would probably be better suited for the forum he's proposing.

He thinks trolls have no money. What a quaint idea Roll Eyes

Why do I get the feeling that everyone on this thread is an obsessive gambler, but no one ever wants to be truly wealthy?

For all the fkn around with bitcoin you guys do day trading (and mostly losing), I could have pointed you to at least 5 stocks that in 2014 would have doubled your money going long and holding.

where were you in 2010 genius?

Don't you know?

Bitcoin started at $1200 and has been falling ever since.

It's been a one-way trip south.

<insert images of tulips, Beanie Babies, the Titanic, pyramids, etc>

 Roll Eyes

In 2010 I was definitely not in the know about bitcoin (didn't find out until 2013).  But had I known, I would have been excited and crazy enough to mail a check to MtGox from the US, praying to get my btc back.  I wish I had known about it then.

But I'm just saying that, while we've all had fun watching Bitcoin fall in price over the last 15 months, I've had two stocks in my portfolio that have nearly doubled (eg., DIS, KR).  So bitcoin isn't the only "ride to moon" out there.
