Bitcoin will get a rise again, if not tomorrow, next month or next year.

Invested 1/4th of my physycal  savings, and will only sell (a part of) my coins at at least $500

The idea and the technology behind Bitcoin is just too interesting for me.

You are quite conservative for bitcoin land.  Smiley

Volume thus far today on Bitstamp: 2617, Bitfinex: 6949, BTC-E: 4797 ?!?!

When did BTC-E become twice as big as Bitstamp?
After they got hacked

Yeez, well I guess it's good for BTC-E. The shadiest of the bunch is also the safest. Who knew?

...The way I see it, bears are running out of time... buy now or get burnt.  Cool

No, bears aren't running out of time. Even if THE bottom was 3 months ago, considering that the market moves slowly, there should be another 1 - 2 months of relatively low prices.
So "buy now OR get burnt" may turn into "buy now AND get burned", in the bearish scenario. In the bullish one, plenty of time to buy, mega-rally only after the block halving in 2016.

Repeat after me:

There. Will. Be. No. Rally. Until. Major. Market. Maker. Money. Suddenly. Appears. Out. Of. Nowhere. And. Bids. Pile. Up. To. The. Fkn. Moon.

Otherwise, nothing but a few guppies splashing around.  And still constant downward pressure from mining.

If you sell part of your coins at $500 then you'll sell the rest at $1000 or $1200. Then at $1500 or $2000 you'll hate bitcoin. I've seen this happening in the past with lots of bitcoin fans at lower price levels.

You're right; eventually bears or bulls we're all here for the same reason. More BTCs. I agree that mid 2016 will be a nice time for a mega-rally. I strongly believe though, that the next "bubble" will come earlier. I've once predicted that it'd happen at about this time (April 2015). I later changed my prediction to last August (was awfully wrong). My first call was in something that I had in mind back then - the MtGox salvation. I believed back then that it would've been the most prominent catalyst towards a great rally. Now I don't think so...

Seems that I was wrong at both of my predictions. Tough luck, I suppose. Undecided

When is the Russian ban coming into effect?  (IIRC, it will be sometime in Q3; if so, that seems unlikely to be the cause...)

I don't believe in TA's but things are not necessarily bearish in my opinion. As predicted earlier in this thread (also visible on the chart) May's the time. Not long before we see some real action; do you really think that we're going down after 1 year of decline? The way I see it, bears are running out of time... buy now or get burnt.  Cool

To me it seems like they are stalling.  Either way this spring has been coiling for almost a week now and the price is going to explode one way or another.

If you zoom out a bit it's all red as well.  It doesn't look like much, but when you factor in these contracts at 20x they are worth a ton especially if the market were to move a few dollars let alone 10+  Wink

I think something is stalling the price and keeping it down for Gemini/etf/bitlicense.

I think some high level players are stalling the price too, while preparing and getting into position...
