what if the past 10 days of trading painted the right shoulder of what will be a 30day head and shoulders

neck line at 333, head will top out around 420, we bottom out at ~280 in about 1-2 months

Just buy now Adam!  Cheesy

We saw how that worked out. He needs to dump some and we can get a nice rally going.  Cheesy

So what is the general consensus on what the outcome of the scaling conference this weekend might be?

So what is the general consensus on what the outcome of the scaling conference this weekend might be?

Blockstream has conceded and it's going to 8mb blocks:

"Another idea that has been gathering support is Blockstream CEO and Hashcash inventor Dr. Adam Back's “2-4-8” quick fix, which would incrementally increase to the limit to 8 megabytes in three steps over four years time."

So small blockers are officially dead.  Adam Back is a part of Blockstream.

It is my estimation that Bitcoin needs around 10MB block size to remove the glass ceiling on price (8MB is close enough), so next stop moon:

Does everyone remember a couple weeks ago, those huge buys out of nowhere, like 2-3k coins at once? That was someone hinting at what's to come. And a little of that right now gets us over 400 in a jiffy.

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to "non-custodial"

Gotta be honest here...what do the Bears think they see here?

We are going much higher...when the composite operator drops the bomb and takes out the stops!

cheers Cool

Maybe so many are jaded and/or spoiled over nearly two years of a bear market - expecting the continuation of such downward price manipulations and ongoing failures to really rally?

No i am still bearish. it is less then a month since the big pump so it take some time to go down properly ie to the $250 type mark. all the current stuff is just "noise''. longer term (ie 2years plus out) buying now at $360 might work out alright for people but if they hold off a bit and they  will be able to get a lot more for their dollars when it is $250-$280 in 6 months time. Grin

Sure, you have a right to your prediction, but really your prediction seems a bit too pie in the sky to be hoping that btc prices are going to remain relatively stagnant for another several months.

Personally, I have the sense that too much volume was invested for nearly 15 weeks - even though the past couple of weeks have been brought down to more normal volume levels.

I am considering that it may take some time to break through to $700s, even though several posters are suggesting that getting past $400 is going to really cause some upward rocketshipping, and I don't really mind being wrong on my more bearish perspective.

Are you one of those people that has a segregated "trading" stash and pretends that these %'s mean something? Or you sold all of your BTC 9 days ago?

what kind of nut bag sell ALL his bitcoin on a whim?

generally i don't trade with more then 10% of my total bitcoin
i feel extremely nervous selling more then 30%
and that can only happen if market move like 20% higher then my initial sell.
