BearSwamp is such a cesspit ... probably they are bust from that hack and like Gox trying to keep thing going long enough hoping to trade their way of the crap hole they are in ... or until they get another bitcoin reserve audit from Mike Hearn?

Seems like Bitstamp feel confident about it's reserves and will finally do a public audit as well, which I really think should be the standard in the Bitcoin world because of it's very public nature: Was a proof of reserves required for the Bitlicense process? If so, how was it done?

Seriously, after the last 2 months, it seems like every +3% move upwards that breaks a certain technical level is seriously tested within 1 hr. Whoever is driving the price action loves to shake out people along the way. They like to see how good the support is after we make new highs. And a lot of the price action has totally been driven by China time. I mean, who the fuck is around in America trading at 2AM on Saturday to react to the dumps? Seriously?
China controls this entire market, and I'm a little worried because whoever is doing these shakeouts/dumps by now really knows how well the institutional trading bots on finex/okcoin/btcc behave.

Just got back from the bar to see that we're still scrapping over $400. Glad I went out when it had barely broken $390.
It's almost bedtime. Where will we be in 8 hours? $420 or $380? The weekend is still young.

Imo breakout of 2500cny is incredibly bullish, unfortunately because of cny devaluation need 400$+ on western exchanges for confirmation.
sustain here and we can aim for the 600$+ / 4000cny

I totally agree. its why much of the so called market analysis predicitng price movements has little relationship to what is happening behind the scenes. people should remember that the ATH of about $1100 was false in that it was concocted. while mt gox has gone other players are still doing the equivalent with the price |

I don't know what you see but I see again a lot of spread between the exchanges. Huobi is trading over 408$ while finex is 395. It seems price is recovering from the 407$ dump
