Invisible buy wall at 685 on finex.
Should be interesting to see if we pullback at all or hold for more moon after whoever is filling their boots is happy to go up again.

Good call, i noticed that someone was putting up good size walls all the way down during the mini dump. Bid size was thin so that BTC10k sell should've brought us down to low 600s without those buy walls. Think we got a bull lurking around setting the floor

Gold does not have a password and its heavy!!! And with that I end my argument.
LOL.
It's always fun to meet people that can't imagine a world without Internet.

Gold does not have a password and that is good, you can't forget it!
Gold is heavy at current price. When it appreciates x100 it will not be so heavy!

'Course that's not counting the equipment to measure and assay micrograms of gold for payments. That could be quite heavy, expensive, power hungry, ... ridiculous actually.

You prefer the heavy, expensive, power hungry equipment to mine 'digital' gold, or the heavy, expensive, power hungry equipment to guard your hot wallet, or the heavy, expensive, power hungry equipment to guard your password from being stolen?...

Crypto money is a hype. If some crisis event causes Internet fragmentation this hype is dead, dude. Face it!

Of course I would. Those things don't need to be carried to every transaction. right?
The best you could imagine with gold transactions in meatspace would be that every merchant had a way to assay and weigh the damn stuff. Bitcoin enables those things to be checked with software.

tl;dr: bitcoin is really light! Smiley

Looks like it, what kind of idiot shorts in a bull run any way? Anybody trying to be clever & fight this beast deserves to become penniless.

Remember when bitcoin used to go up slowly and crash fast?

Seems to be the reverse now. Bullish as fuck!

This may be the start of a flawless bullmarket gentlemen.

How do you find out if there's an invisible buy wall on finex if it's invisible on the order books? Can you post a link to wherever you find out about those invisible orders please?

You see an empty order book, then someone sells BTC1000 but the price doesn't move. Thus there's an invisible buy wall that just ate up that ask order. Works the other way too. Not used as often as i thought, guessing because there's no trust in exchange not front running it

Actually, I can relate a little bit to your desire for rest.  Last night was the worst for me because I was awoken twice by my bitcoin alarm, and I tried to just take intermediate and quick measures in response to the upwards price movement (first to $706 and second to $720), which were kind of half-assed measures and sleepy.

Maybe some day, when we are rolling more in profits, we will be able to sit back and say, "I remember when bitcoin was very volatile, and I was struggling to accumulate and to get my BTC holdings in the black.. ... blah blah blah.  Those were the days."   Wink

It is interesting to see the value of my portfolio change so quickly in recent weeks, when it had been stagnant for an extended period.. well at least moving negative a lot prior to August 2015.

In September 2015, I was nearly 60% in the red.  Then in late May 2016, just a few weeks ago, I was floating around the break even point, and now my portfolio is a bit over 50% in the black.

Let me understand. In the event of some kind of long-term disruption to large parts of the internet, you plan to just up and build your own?

Very true, I really believe its being pushed up now though because of halving and the supply cut. Still hoping for 900+ in July  Smiley
