I'm amazed that nobody's found ways to arb that huge BTCe lag.
I'd have thought the way to do it is just to maintain large amounts of fiat on there and wait for rally, then cash in on BTCe and immediately out on Bitstamp. It's a no brainer fiat gainer.
One could even borrow funds at negative interest rates to do it.
Not a bad idea to arb that with a loan actually, or other money that you don't wanna invest in bitcoin with. I may take me a trip to the bank tomorrow and explore my options

Bitfinex is almost empty after $680 might go full retard Howd'you know it's not empty of fiat as well. Thats the problem - fiat is such a slow mover that when the exchange reserves dry up, demand dries up as well.

If someone could move money in to China in less than a few hours ... then from Yuan > China Exchanges! ... If you can do that when the market is stable and quiet in a day's time. You can make profits from that gap. Does the West have any banks in China? .. You borrow from the Western bank that is located in China but also that bank must be working with the Western exchange you trade on, and the transfer is almost instant and you keep the cycle going! So is there any Bank that works with any of the exchanges with a big gap that also has a enclave in China?

My inner bear was telling me to short at 675$, but I didn't have the balls to... At least I placed bids around 565$, hoping to catch the falling knife. And had the pic prepared in Photoshop, posted at the right time in Memespeculation.

People uber bullish with "the halving" approaching. Wonder if we'll just have a massive bubble that pops prior to it, followed by a slide into the halving. The market well metaphoricall "ji$$ it's pants"
