phew. good thing I didn't bet for Bitcoin to not reach the 1000$ in the bitcoin gambling sites. I would be sweating right now
Back in 2013 I spent $50 on a 1 bitcoin bet saying the price would be $10,000 by the end of this month. Unfortunately for those that bet against me the site went down a few years ago. No fear Elwar, you may have been wrong with your prediction, date wise but I have no doubt we'll break $10,000 within 3-4 years. 10k per coin? AMEN

Good morning Bitcoinland.
I see we had our "big" correction/profit taking, all the way down to where we were earlier this morning... $958USD at Bitcoinaverage.
How long will the consolidation last before the next leg up? My guess is tonight.
IMO the consolidation looks pretty complete on the upper side, and looks like it will break up in the next 3hrs. only way to prolong that is if it dips to ~$956 and takes a few more hours to bounce around.my bet is we see $1060USD by the new year (but im too pussy to risk margin trading that hope) as the whales make the short sellers panic in the final days of the year. the drama is multiplied by the fact that most financial markets are closed so many days this week, and traders only have bitcoin to focus on well, step 1 complete. we have new high at $973 and the beartrap looks to be finished. $1000 sometime tomorrow?

$1000 before the end of 2016 would be cool. 3 days to make it happen.

Been busy. Just checked in now to see your comment earlier. Seems your 3 hour prediction was bang on. I was trying to be conservative with thinking it might take until tonight. That shows how powerful this rally is. It used to take days to consolidate between legs up. Now it takes hours. Mind you, we haven't really started the next leg up yet, just regained what we lost in the correction/profit-taking a few hours ago.

have sold some btc. it was a sacrifice for my fellow forum members.
price may explode now.
i did it for you.... Really does that mean that you were a bit over invested in BTC if you felt that you had to cash out at a time that you did not want? Price was up at that time, so it is not a big deal to cash out some along the way, but yeah, we have experience another 25% price increase in just a few weeks. I have been cashing out 1 to 2% for every $100 rise, approximately, but then if I buy back on the dips, then the total amount of value cashed out ends up being less... I have been doing some variation of this cashing out since about $250, but my total cashing out still only adds up to about 8% of my BTC holdings. It seems that my cashed out amount ends up being a kind of working capital that is mostly dedicated towards BTC, anyhow, so my cashed out amount is not completely cashing out in the way that you seemed to have done it. Don't tell anyone, but I have sometimes borrowed some short term living expenses with some of the fiat that is the working capital (but it is usually only for a few days until my cashflow is jiggered back into order).

Lauda seems to be right on the job today, and busy too. As fast as he deletes one random-6-character-alphanumeric-trollbot fudspam thread, another pops up. A human's work is never done. He/ they have their own thread now or should I say multiple threads. They don't need wall observer
He/they? More like "it".

What a nice and fast correction.
Keep going up and buy at next dip. Rinse and repeat until we go parabolic!
Am I too bullish now?

Am I the only one who doesn't want the price to go up just yet? I mean, it's nice, but I got this guy who wants to buy and I have to wait for a bank transfer to finish first. Don't want him to jump ship.
