Good morning Bitcoinland.
I see that after Friday's drama we seem to have gotten back to Bitcoin's normal state of affairs, creeping upward... currently $1205USD (Bitcoinaverage).
In my opinion, there were more people anticipating ETF rejection than approval, as evidenced by polls ranging from 30%-50% expecting acceptance.
This led many to save the fiat that they otherwise would have spent on bitcoins during the period leading up to the decision, hoping to buy a deep dip.
When the dip wasn't as deep as anticipated, they waited for a further dip which hasn't come yet. They're now starting to realize that another large drop might not immediately happen, so they're starting to use those reserved funds to buy more coins while the price is still down.
Hopefully most of us were smart enough to buy when prices were below $1100 and not get too greedy by waiting for it to drop much below $1000.
Personally, when I saw it momentarily go below $1000 and bounce right back up over again, I made my move and bought my coins.
Now in retrospect I'm glad I did.

No reason for bitcoin to rise? LOL Do people really hang out on these forums and still not get it?
Go read the bitcoin whitepaper, think about future implications of this technological advancement. Look up the increasing bitcoin demand that is happening on a global scale already.
Yep, definitely no reason for a price increase...
Exactly. Those who don't bother to really learn, research or understand things very deeply, if at all = low information sheeple, err I meant people. Low information people Man I was talking about short term, I repeat SHORT.

Short term reality facts: Global exponential growth in demand for bitcoin. Sure on the exchanges we have traders manipulating the price, but the real world demand might be too strong to manipulate the price down.

All of you (or most of you) are really trusting that we will see blind green candle. Okay, I don't think so. When everyone is saying that BTC will rise (I'm talking about short term) everyone is buying, but that's just blind move imo. Big Bears want to pump price to get better profits on their shorts. Sooner or later we will see drop.

Leveraged longs are low, leveraged shorts are high. Demand has been pent up awaiting the decision. Anyone who wanted to sell has sold.

Sure, some folks are more bullish and more delusional than others, but you seem to be missing a large piece of the picture if you are either suggesting that bitcoin is a mature technology (and should behave as such) or you might just not understand the possibility of the s curve in exponential growth adoption and networking effects. You may still have some time to save your short, and buy a little at $1200, if it dips down.. but I would not count on it... hahahahahaha

This is quite astonishing. If it stays around this level after tomorrow (being the first working day back after ETF news) I'll be very confident we will not see a dump.

Just had someone try to log into my ANX Pro exchange account. That site used the Cloudflare thing that was hacked a few weeks ago.
Just FYI.
They didn't get in, I don't have anything on any exchanges anymore anyway. All cold storage at this point.
IP address was India though that is likely spoofed.

Then you go in with shorts and drop the price, another panick starts, people sell and price go lower and lower, you realise your short and you're the king =)

The next thing to move the price will be when the FED raises the rate next Wednesday, and the Yuan crashes because of it. Nothing starts the Chinese buying Bitcoins like the Yuan crashing.
