The next thing to move the price will be when China starts allowing Bitcoin withdrawals.

Not that the price needs much help in moving.

The next thing to move the price will be when the FED raises the rate next Wednesday, and the Yuan crashes because of it. Nothing starts the Chinese buying Bitcoins like the Yuan crashing.
Also, the USG runs out of borrowing power on Wed (never happened before in recent times) w/ the debt is capped at $20 trillion and the only spending that can happen is that which is coming in. Good luck to Trump to rush through some spending limit increase when conservatives in Congress won't go for it. Thus, not seeing any tax cuts coming nor infrastructure spending could signal a market reversal and lead even more USD searching for a safe haven.

Trapped all you guys waiting to buy the dip good!!
Ingenious!!

I guess 1300$ will be the new bottom.  Smiley

it will be most likely

I think a lot of folks were waiting for ETF news to buy,  now they need to buy without ETF
I bought some on the dip,  but have more dry powder to buy more if it dips again

We are in the dip! And we are not coming back here! Smiley

*Edit:  Because in Jun / July the banking crashes will be common knowledge and there will be less and less people dumping or keeping their coins on the exchanges! Smiley
How the fuck you draw this white line? Tongue I mean, what was your idea when you was drawing it? You wanted to cross the chart as many times as possible or what

ETF denied, two days later back at >$1200. Extremely bullish sign?

^bitcoin is BIGGER than what a simple ETF can contain..i think the SEC still is like a few years out from even understanding what bitcoin taint analysis experts are still far behind ~ ;-)

However, even if the ETF does not launch, Global Advisors Bitcoin Investment Fund (GABI) is optimistic bitcoin's price will head higher – even with continued scrutiny on the market from China's central bank.

"We think the ‘bull’ case for bitcoin will be considerably strengthened, and as such, we would expect a very protracted rally in which we will quickly seek to participate," the email reads.

Its based on an average rate of people buying the actual 'coins'. (Supply&Demand.co.market.101.bible)   Cheesy  Cheesy

Its something of a common knowledge information. My advice is that you should read a few hundred or at least a thousand pages from behind in this thread and you will learn more about economics.  Cheesy Cheesy

*edit: You should also know that my line is very bearish! Smiley

*edit2: Because after the halving, you can see from April / May of 2016... I should have drawn another line that is more steep!

China Sunday Pump.

I think that all of this is bullish for bitcoin, and I would not refer to it as a "china" pump - because China still remains about $70 lower than western exchanges.

Are you saying that the last pump started in china, or what is your reason for the "China" reference?

Oh wow, I never thought about how many pages of this thread I must have read. I just know that I've been doing my best to get caught up almost every day since early 2013. Sometimes there was just too much going on, but for the most part I would spend 4-6 hours a day minimum on bitcoin in general, and this was a BIG part of that especially during 2013-2015.

Speaking of old times, I miss Aminorex and his monkey, and Adam giving beer tips. Hope they're doin ok. Monkey would probably be bullish as hell right now  Smiley

Oh and what ever happened to that guy with a "castle" and the cigars ?  Huh retpeelia or something  Cheesy

Also, does anyone else get the feeling $1250+ may happen today? lol

That's actually strong point. If we don't see correction until wednesday, i will start thinking about going long.

Do i remember correctly that FED give info about rates in the morning Wall Street Time? Like 9AM there?

Investing.com says the FED Statement for Mar 15, 2017 will be at 14:00, but it doesn't specify what time zone that's in. I assume it's EDT.

https://www.investing.com/economic-calendar/fomc-statement-398

I think there will be live updates at this link.

This market has turned full blown scam.

Price up 1.6% from pre-ETF decision pump of $1200?  Not down....not even 5% down...but UP instead? LOL.  If there was any exchange on earth besides Bitfinex being the market leader to determine price world-wide, I might let it slide, but we're talking about the second coming of Mt Gox here - an exchange that already appeared to be naked shorting their own customers during the halving, admittedly traded on their own exchange while knowing where all margin positiosn are, probably traded with customer funds too, and then ranomly out of the blue stole something like $70 million of bitcoin from customers.

Is this a dream?  How does Bitfinex STILL control the world-wide price of bitcoin while being completely insolvent and still owing customers something like $60 million dollars???

I can't believe these price movements. Every time I consider selling my coins to wait bear market this happens. Price recovers from the dust. No explications.

LOL, yea, and you should probably start questioning why the price is always led by the most scammy exchange on the planet and how they keep managing to raise the price over and over on zero volume compared to when the price was $400-800.

I used to trade on Bitfinex but wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole nowadays, yet when I ask in this thread, who the fuck is trading on this scam of an exchange?  Not a single person in this thread says they are.  So the question is, if nobody is actually trading on Bitfinex, what exactly are we looking at here?  Just the exchange owner moving the buy and sell walls around wherever he wants with no actual customers and that determines world-wide bitcoin price?

start watching this market, its the new leader

http://bitcoincharts.com/charts/coincheckJPY#rg10ztgSzm1g10zm2g25zv

is there a fundamental flaw with the JPY which causes it to crumble when compared to bitcoin?
