I prefer this chart, more detail - http://www.xe.com/currencycharts/?from=XBT&to=XAU&view=5YGoing to be boring here, stop comparing bitcoin to dollar. 3 digit myth was always wrong because its established fact even government is happy to say each dollar declines in value every year so 3 digits was inevitable so long as the btc standard is being used. Bitcoin is being used and we see 4 digits. We arent holed below the water line like dollar has with its errant masters What really would be decent, would be if bitcoin kept a level ratio with gold. Thats a real sign of quality if all we do is stay level with one of the most globally acknowledged asset bases. No government will say its money but for a hell of a long time its not lost anything so it pretty much serves that purpose. Like bitcoin, gold is going to go up as dollar suffers from deficits. If the only thing we do is stay level then Im happy, no need to be thinking of 3 4 or 5 digits even, doesnt matter only that we maintain a reliable exchange of value. The whole ounce comparison is arbitrary anyhow. track it in grams per btc I reckon. It is becoming more evident that the likelihood of Bitcoin Unlimited being executed as a hard fork solution is substantially low Cant anyone fork any coin they like, its just the support that follows that fork that matters. Seems BU doesnt have anything that viable? Anyhow while we obsess on 4 digits or 3, I'd say 1050 is the level to watch for now. That was my target and the trick is observing well how it reacts. Finding 1050 as support in the next days would be great. I will guess we are more sideways then up for now, mostly I hope we deal with weakness before moving on

How I see it: I've convinced myself that the bitcoin price will be significantly higher at some point in time. Reason enough for me to hold through everything.
I would advise to keep some eggs in another basket. Don't place all eggs into one basket. Those rules maybe ancient, but have proven themselfes since some time. but what other basket would have so much profit potential as Bitcoin² i have heard that Onecoin, Pepecash are very good alternatives. Lets face it: Onecoin did the most extraordinary thing that not a single cryptocurrency ever did: calling itself a bitcoin 2.0 without a blockchain . They are so awesome that they dont need blockchain to call themself bitcoin 2.0 and Pepecash because evil Pepe will destroy everything. Lesson : 100% in bitcoin or agree with second choice alternatives. Both Onecoin and Pepecash are no serious suggestions. Easy to spot duds. Stay on toppic! Exactly! Was going to start a business not a long time ago but when I found out how much should I invest in equipment, vehicles, salaries, premises rent etc and compared to the potential profit I asked myself why? My BTCs are earning more just by sitting in my cold wallet. That seems more bussiness focused. You can differentiate inside the bitcoin sphere, too. Investment on mining equipment. Close relatives like Litecoin. Regarding salaries I am still waiting for a more structured trading company that would hire traders. So far, we all are on our own.

I do not understand why XBC is climbing like a rocket... $130.00 now I think I have missed something lol Isn't it obvious? It's Bitcoin... with a plus on it. That sounds fooking awesome to me. In fact let's knock out Bitcoin Fooking Awesome right now and have it listed by the end of the hour. And apart from the plusness it's POS and there are only 85,000 of them but screw the details. Let's party.

Well, okay. What is Bitcoin Plus? Aaaaand... What is Bitcoin Dark?
The BU mafia have told their alt pumpers that they're not allowed to like Bitcoin any more. So this is their little protest.

Somehow I think people who dont speak english very well are being taken advantage of here, its hardly a positive for the industry overall. The exchange should put up a warning to people and in a few different languages. Thats the only way to explain it, a hundred or so clueless people thinking its a genuine 'new' alternative and buying some of the limited supply?

People are being taken advantage of but I think it goes beyond understanding english. People new to alt coins think they have just stumbled upon the next bitcoin and gladly buy without doing previous research, time and time again. There are those who just like to gamble, but there are also many people who may lack the ability to think rationally and fall for traps. But that's how it works I guess, one persons loss is another persons gain.

In 24 hours Bitcoin's gone up almost $100 on stamp. It was only the fork FUD suppressing the price. Can it keep going up at this rate and rise another $100 tomorrow? I'm happy with anything over $1000.

I don't think BU or much else will change in the near future... Status quo" is returning. However BU is gaining back today after a few days of slowing in hash and blocks found. I think if BU was going to happen it would have by now or look more certain anyways, which is does not.
I think the more everyone considers the full scope of a hard fork and the inherent risk, the less attractive it is for a block size solution.
I for one, think the various devs need to go back to the drawing board and present something else. I know miners ultimately hold most of the power to be" but it should be a solution that satisfies most everyone. And find a way for non-miners to have a say. Only thing everyone else can do to be heard is, sell off BTC and put that money in something else. Miners need a buying market to survive.
