just a couple of correcions/questions:
They paid back all the losses their customers had due to the hack.
i'm a bit out of the loop here, did they really "pay back" or "say we are ready to pay back". because there is a big difference and i only read on their site that they said "we have accumulated enough money to pay back". so can someone confirm this for sure.

Quote
It's more like US banks are making them problems.
it is "Taiwanian" bank not US. the site is specifically saying "No US banks have blocked any funds.

Quote
In terms of scaling debate I'm convinced that SegWit will come. It's just a question of time.
things are a bit different and much more complicated with bitcoin than it is with LTC.

Quote
Now it will be activated in Litecoin first.
it is locked in and will be activated soon. but i should add that SegWit on litecoin has 100% support! which is unbelievable  Smiley

Quote
And when it prooves to work as good and smooth as many hope I'm sure the pressure to except it for Bitcoin will increase
i also think this part can be true.

This shit is just too confusing. How the hell is anyone supposed to see where it's going?

What's to get?
8B people, 21M coins.
To the extent that Bitcoin does not get eaten by friendlier crypto, the only way to go is up.
For whether they realize it or not, the people of the world need an uncensorable concealable money.

Day trading trolls are out b...bb..because price movement not logical, can't draw their silly lines on a chart and try make sense of things.

Long term hodlers are in, because we just dgaf what happens in the short term.

The day will come when the exchange game players get drowned in a tidal wave of real demand. I don't think it's happening now but the first lappings might be occurring when you look at the ever increasing Localbitcoins action.

I think they became a bit too comfortable with the idea that there isn't a real world out there.

Can't wait for that day.

But tbh, the deluge won't be started by Average Joe. It'll be the wealthy investors first.

Probably just before a world market crash (because insiders *always* know when it's happening well in advance).

Average Joe will, of course, come in late as the last bagholder in a market gone nuts crazy.  Tongue

FOMO is +50% in a week. This is chilling under an umbrella, sipping pina colada...

Disregarding the stupid $1350 spike, GDAX is at ATH, btc-e ATH, BFX ATH, stamp soon to come.

Another early good morning Bitcoinland.

I see the price is continuing to creep slowly upward... currently $1295USD (Bitcoinaverage).

The battle over $1300 should be fun. As I'm typing I see it hit $1300 on Stamp.

I don't see any rocket train GIFs, just doom-and-gloom predictions of some huge expected crash. Be greedy when others are fearful, etc.

Glad I'm an investor not a trader. Maybe they'll be right and we'll get a big dip. In that case I'll buy more.

Meanwhile I'm enjoying the show. Go Bitcoin go.

I seem to recall a creep up to 1298 or so just before the ETF news and reaction.

I think we will break through that price before Sunday

Well that didn't take long....

I'm a bit disappointed at how easily it has gone through 1300. I was hoping for more volatility.

Volatility will kick into high gear once we pass into uncharted territory > $1350

Never short in the middle. NEVER lol. For the first time more traders are short than long according to the exchanges. This means 55% gets rekt rightnow?

Yep. And you only need to read this thread to notice that there's still no FOMO and many people claim to have sold at least a significant part of their Bitcoin stash. If it weren't for Bitfinex/USDT I would say there are good factors for a new rally after/IF the ATH is broken.

But you never know with Bitcoin....
