this whole altcoin bubble is going end up so badly.

I expect that the most altcoins will drop with 40%.

So much blood.

ETH/ETC pushing eachother to the limit to fight over the ETH chain power.  Cheesy

1 of them will burst.

dude you do bring a smile to my face lol
etcetera coin stands no chance....
btw wrong thread, lol

Sry man , but still this is going to end up badly.
They are really fighting eachother.

Crypto will suffer because of this etcetera coin and etherfork battle.

and since Bitcoin has a more predictable supply than Ethereum it can be used as the ideal store of value.

Well, that's where he's completely wrong because no cryptocurrency is a store of value.

And that's where you are completely wrong, because almost anything is a "store of value". Gold is, silver is, currencies are, marble is, copper is, steel is, FIAT is, collectibles are, wood is.... everything.

Once we have agreed upon that, we could discuss how some things are worse or better as store of value.

And at the moment, cryptocurrencies have some very interesting qualities as store of value.

Eth never will, because its unlimited fuel, like oil.
Its meant to serve for the projects on their chain.
This is why I dont understand that people are pumping money in it.
Its for companies to build things on the Eth chain, not for investors.

Its not safe, its infinite, you cant scale it.
People are buying black tulips. 100% hype because muhh Eth is 'it'
XRP tech. is for banks, XRP tokens are like 'stocks' -> because of this you can support this tech.
(banks need to buy XRP to use their tech0 , same as devs who want to build stuff on the Eth chain.
BTC is for investors, as a hedge, store of value, bridge for crypto's to transform it into fiat money(dont know why they would do that anyway ^^)
BTC is limited, most safe of the crypto's , biggest community.
Crypto can only be succesfull when its holded by lots of people in small ammounts.
Eth is 100% hype ATM.
Would you buy stocks when you dont know how many there are ?
No.
BTC will win.
This Eth pump makes me sad, investors are such FOMO sheeps.
Good luck buying infinite non scalable tokens (tulips)
Same as for XRP like I discussed here already yesterday.
BTC OR BURST.

i understand what your saying...but your wrong a few times.
ETH needs purchased to keep the oil flowing...many use cases for smart contracts allows this, ETH has its place.
XRP tech is what will make crypto goto the $trillions+ ...it will give BTC and XRP access to banking customers.
there is no BTC or burst anymore.

If everything goes according to the plan, once ETH dumps the current pump it will flow into next ETC and LTC pumps and, after that is done, everything will flow back to BTC for the next rally.

Next week is critical Smiley

It looks like some people are starting to get positions before the rally.

This may turn interesting faster than I thought.

so yet another all time high and all it gets is one train photo. you people are weird.

i wonder what changed. that says to me that we're about a million miles away from hype and euphoria which means there's room for a big ass rise.

We don't need no more stinking ATH, we need a RALLY.

Bitcoin is way undervalued in comparison to altcoins. That's what changed.

How can someone tell the exact BTC all time high?

Based on which price ticker? CoinmarketCap? Preev? Bitcoin Average?

Of course, Stamp remains one of the best barometers, but of course, when you are considering or discussing price movements, you can use other barometers as well, but if you make a post that is based on some other barometer, then you may want to indicate which reference point you are using.. and maybe sometimes use a couple of them, at once.

Btc-e's Alltime high is 1312$ and it happened a couple days ago. We are now again 1311$, very close to another all time high. Maybe it even surpassed the previous price while i am writing this message. Interesting times all over again. I hope it doesn't end bad this time  Cool

edit: 1314$ came Cheesy ATH!

It is my philosophy and attempted practice that on a personal level, you have to attempt your best to prepare for any price direction - and even expect a bit of the unexpected.

So, usually the considerable variation in prices between exchanges indicates that we are likely to experience some extreme volatility in one direction or another and sometimes we will also experience various levels of returning to parity - after some of the volatility takes place.  In the end, I don't really know so I do have money on various exchanges that is meant to help to protect my own holdings from volatility that is likely and that seems like it could take place in either direction (even both directions within short time spans)
