$1463 now, even with a $100 correction the price would be above $1350. Reading the news about the bitcoin exchanges in Japan I wouldn´t be suprised if we hit $1500 soon. I guess it won´t take much time to see the "China is going to ban Bitcoin" or "Bitcoin is going to fork" again.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/68muot/17k_bitfinex_contracts_short_starting_at_1600_if/

Anyone have any insight on this? Not sure if it would be an epic short squeeze or whether Finex is too disconnected from reality now.

I remember reading somewhere that 1600 figure has now moved up, but maybe that was a shorter. Shorting seems kinda quaint at the moment.

Probably. Draw attention to it and it's going to move up.
Presumably at some point there will be a classic FOMO spike. If it happens fast enough and hits the threshold there will be a cascading short squeeze, which will indeed be epic. Forget the moon, that would be slingshot effect to Jupiter stuff.

Are you saying that it's too late to trade all my BTC for DOGE?!?!?!?

Damn... just damn... missed the boat again  Cry

First time was during that NASCAR stuff. Man, just look at all the industry adoption of DOGE since then!

Oh wait...

Hopefully that article isn't an exaggeration.  Cheesy

Is this the "dip"? If so, then I'm betting on $1500+ on Bitstamp + GDAX by the end of this day.

Is the rally over now?  Was that it?  Is Bitcoin dead??  Tongue

well my 'evil plan' is working:)

btc is at $1,493 as we speak....

ltc is at $15.12 (what I'm mining) and not dumping as bad as other alts.

so mining paying back to get to 100 btc and would like to hold 1000 ltc (in case it pumps)

so ......worse case I'll run back to my ltc to btc mode of last 2 years and grab btc again

(this evil genius thing has a lot going for it..meglomania/drama/$$$/mystery/etc.....and of course the constant risk of 'gasp' bears in the tulips!)

All is well, I tell you all is well......

(hmmm..need a pet white cat to pet...and a monocle .......evil genius cred demands such)

If you did not sell, you were fairly pessimistic and expecting a dip when we were in the lower $1200s.. but it did not happen.. not yet...

WE have not really had any meaningful dip since about $890....   so a major dip would be in order... even though, we may wait until the upper $1500s before such a dip takes place.. ?
