Good morning Bitcoinland.
After 4 days of slowly rising prices we had a nice little $100 correction and bounce halfway back up and seem to be consolidating well above $2500... currently $2525 (Bitcoinaverage).
This is the kind of moderate growth we need to keep going.
Go Bitcoin go.
Definitely, slow & steady upwards price increments is the way to go. Much better than huge pumps which are unsustainable & are usually followed by an inevitable dump. Be nice to break $3000 by the end of 2017, that's my personal hope. breaking $3000 by end of year is a cakewalk , tho it wont be a rise, more likely a crash from $3500 (followed by $4000 shortly thereafter)...this is bitcoin folks....

Yeah I sure prefer that to the horrible rises we had previously... Slow and solid growth with small corrections is OK. I just don't want to see another peak at 3500 for some times... We don't need it and it can't be a stable and healthy rise to reach that >< That might be what you prefer, but there is no real way to control the trend of the market.. and we all know the expression that the trend is your friend... so you cannot really give much weight to your preference as being more than merely a dream rather than what is the more likely scenario... the more likely scenario, at this point, seems that we are going to continue upwards and then at some point we are going to have an upwards spike and then a correction. Sure, we could experience a correction before we experience that irrational upwards spike, but at this time, that seems to be a less likely scenario.. So, in essence, each of us "in the know" should be preparing ourselves for an upwards spike and then a correction, and don't be living in a fantasy regarding our preferences that is not too likely to happen.

Be nice to break $3000 by the end of 2017, that's my personal hope. That's something I can support! A 3k break by the end of the year would be ok, much more than a crazy ride to 4k just to see the coin dying back to 2500... 3k is an honest goal. I just hop for a small dip before because something too solid lacks entry points ^^ Less than $500 from the current level after $1500 rise since January? Think bigger. Why not another $1500 rise? Well, crazy as it sounds, a $1,500 rise from our current spot seems like a reasonable set of unreasonableness in the total context of where we are at and how we got here - including considerations of what is going on in the alt space, too. I don't know any kind of exact odds for another $1,500 rise, but maybe around 35% or so.. could be fair.. . and is really good, if you think about it. Absent major drama $4200 - $4400 is doable by year end. Look at past ATHs and compare the rise to previous.
$4,200 to $4,400 is doable in 6 weeks or less.

I think you should know all the times that China "banned" Bitcoin since 2013. I think the first one caused the first drop after the top of the Gox bubble

If you do cash out a significant amount, the problem I see is buying property. AML laws mean solicitors in most Western countries will want to see evidence of source of funds. It is also likely to trigger suspicion, which, at least in the UK, means a SAR (Suspicious Activity Report) being filed with the NCA (National Crime Agency).
Just buy a carwash.

New concern trolling threads in this sub forum are at an ATH
Trolls must be getting desperate for a drop. And no Youtube, we are not falling for that ETH crap. Your constant video shilling won't work, we don't care about that shitcoin.

No. Casper can survive 51% attacks happening once in a while; we can just delete the attackers' deposits and keep going. Good to know...

I think you should know all the times that China "banned" Bitcoin since 2013. I think the first one caused the first drop after the top of the Gox bubble I don't know. I frequently criticize other posters for giving too much emphasis to events in China, and in this particular instance, I am requesting a link regarding any implication that there is significant or meaningful news in relation to china or anything else that might be a reference regarding current BTC price dynamics. Furthermore, merely because someone is here and participating in this thread for a long time does not reasonably conclude that the person is on the same page regarding the significance, meaning, weight or importance of various events or history that might be discussed. Some posters provide evidence for their posts, and others make vague and ambiguous posts that seem to beg for further explanation, including the posts that I was referencing above.

Why would anyone actually use ETH to build their blockchain product when they can do exactly the same with ETC, the tokens to operate their project will cost <10% of the cost if they build on ETH, and there is significantly less risk of "god" interfering?

Hasnt it slipped past 2470 a little too easily, I dont know. Chinese chart looks good I was going to say, confirming multiple times previous resistance before more in this slight rise. 2900 is a previous uptrend line, obviously that was an aggressive line. EUR 2300 Now 78% retrace for Kraken Euro pullback move and 2400 is top of uptrend channel and the flipside to the negative sentiment during the selloff I guess. Climbing like the rungs of a ladder, quite neat really Old trend discussed may 20th fitting in, call it a base line for now :
