Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

i know it's against  todays experience.. but .. ..     to me looks like bullish.

I honestly don't understand why the price is falling today. Nothing but great news coming out for the past week. There are a lot of very rich folks with lots invested in Bitcoin and Bitcoin-companies that are going to be building out the infrastructure something fierce over the next year.

Because most of the people pour their fiat in just because the price raises, and a bubble just bursted?

This is what you get when speculative mania cools down.

good buying opportunity today, rockets taking off tonight or tomorrow

but watch out for that red hot 120$ end of week sales could drop us down under 100 for a little while

oh boy would that be fun  Grin

that'd be lovely Wink

someone is really trying to rise the price.

So when someone sells a thousand, they are just cashing out, with no attempt at manipulation, but if someone buys a few hundred, that is certainly manipulation . . .

I can't see logic in those buys at all... bid orders were extremely thin, few hundreds to 135, then someone buys 1200 coins out of nothing.

WTF was that, lol

500 buy on 140, then 500 sell back to 136 in 5 seconds.

Looks like someone just did a boo boo...

Profit: -36.60 BTC. Ouch. Make sure your buy and sell orders don't overlap, guys... Wink

(This will happen if your orderbook has a limit ask for some low price, and you later enter a bid order for some higher price.)

PS: Wadn't me... This time. Also: Mt.Gox, fix this shit!

It happened to me few days ago, finished with 3$ higher average entry. I'd have at least 30-40% more coins if it was not due to mistakes like this one, buying when wanting to sell, stupid currency exchange mistakes etc.. one second mind block and you're down 2-3%.

Wait, you mean people who go
"OMG rally ____day, I BELIEVE in bitcoin, it's the ultimate way to defeat fiat and corrupt central banksters once and for all!" when the price goes up $5, but scream and cry
"Bitcoin is overvalued, no one actually SPENDS it, it's just silk road and evil speculators manipulating, we're going down to $25 in the next week, bitcon's TRUE VALU" when the price goes down $5?

What else is new around here Grin Grin Grin
