don't let the drinking of your hatorade cocktail prevent you from appreciating that bitcoin's built-in, last word, first of its kind governance mechanism is being deployed for the first time.

it is awesome.

Can anyone explain to me and the less technically well read, how it is that https://www.btcforkmonitor.info/ suggests no split even though BCC is running blocks? I thought that they're running blocks implied a split. Is there some extra criteria that needs to be fulfilled?

Really annoyed with my ignorance confusion right now

Pretty sure we're just waiting for a 1mb+ block to be mined, then the fork has officially concluded

https://www.btcforkmonitor.info/ says 'no chain split detected', and yet, BCH is live...

And BCC or BCH is now 10 blocks behind! Tongue

Is it ok to send segwit Bitcoin already and be able to send BCC later ?
Or it is necessary to wait for first block, which might never occur?

http://blog.bitfinex.com/announcements/bch-overview-information-bitfinex-users/

When will BCH deposits and withdrawals be available?
BCH deposits and withdrawals will not be enabled until we deem it is safe to do so. It is impossible to approximate the exact time, and it could potentially take 24 hours or longer. Do not send BCH deposits until we make BCH addresses available. This is very important. Furthermore, be sure to split your coins post-fork prior to sending us deposits.

Warning:  on Bitfinex, there is token called BCC.  It is NOT Bitcoin Cash!  Bitcoin Cash will be listed as BCH on Bitfinex.

16. And counting.

Quote
Jeff Garzik said the Hash rate of BCC is maybe 1 % and that it will take 24 hours to mine the block.

Will be interesting to see if Bitfinex BCC gets a bump as a result of confusion...

The bch balance only shows in the (main). When I choose the (split) version the balance is 0.
