Healthy correction took place

No it didn't. A "dip" took place.

I understand the wet dream of every TA fan that sold their bitcoins sub $3k to have that level revisited but...  keep on dreaming! You'll wake up when we break $10k by the end of this year.

I am not really worried but actually annoyed ...

The 5000 USD was within reach and now we are going slowly down and even crashed through the 4000 USD mark I didn't think would happen.

Every time we slowly move up again apparently some whale dumps because we then get one big red candle. This is going on for weeks now.
That is price correction works, and we need price correction which will define Bitcoin lowest point for the time period, We can't just look for ATH we need Slopes so Bitcoin can come in a closing median price with low mark and ATH mark. I do believe Bitcoin is Never going to Touch $3500 again rest is up to all of us. For me $3500 is confirmed.

Don't hold your breath.
From here it can eventually rebound to about 4000$, but that does not mean anything.

Just found this site if you like the rollercoaster gif as much as me:

https://rollercoasterguy.github.io/

I'm really hoping ~$3800 holds for the next week or so, it would be a good launchpad to $5k+. If we break below $3700 for any substantial period of time we are likely heading all the way back to the low $3000's

IF we continue like this it's a matter of minutes or hours to go bellow $3500...   ( i am all in BTC and this is not good for me but i can't close my eyes to what is happening... )
and i can't imagine the weekend hell ahead....

I had not expected that down movement. This now forces me to change my plans. This does not look too bad:

Quote
Bitstamp | Total bids: 55338478 USD. Total asks: 3855 BTC. Ratio: 14354.81375 USD/BTC. | Data vintage: 0.0259 seconds

LOL ... this puts Jamie Dimon into perspective:

Two numbers that stand out:
Over $13b in fines paid by JPM because of fraudulent mortgage practices
Over $1b in separate fines paid because of its role in the Madoff scheme.

All under Jamie's watch. But it's Bitcoin he's worried is the FRAUD
Truly ironic, when the CEO of the fraud bank JPM which got bailed out with billions claims Bitcoin is a fraud. Roll Eyes Anyone with a rudimentary understanding of Bitcoin knows that it can not be a fraud. Bitcoin is neutral.

Again only fools and idiots would be selling now...... or i'm wrong ?  Huh
selling at the potential top of a bubble to take x5-x6 profit from 800 dollars doesn't seem so foolish
Selling at $4k, when the top was $5k is truly foolish.

Have a mercy. Roll Eyes

haha... so, you sold your bitcoins at $2k to buy dash. Oh, boy...

No. I've steadily accumulated BTC for 3 years and never (net) sold any of them. But I've used Dash as a hedge since it's a better store of value than bitcoin and can act as a successful counterweight in bitcoin bear markets.

There is only one asset that can be used as hedge against Bitcoin. Gold!

Finex just went up by about 200 in the last couple minutes. Guess US traders are finally waking up to the news and buying, nice to see so much buy volume after a lot of selling.

Edit: lots of sell pressure pushing it down to only ~100-150 now.
