This seems like the lamest Bitcoin bubble yet.

Are we still on our way to 'return to "normal"' or do we begin the 'fear' stage?

If this is the end of the cycle then it was pretty tame and they are getting more and more tame each time. The 'return to mean' phase would put us solidly over $2k which is still fine by me. But it may dip just under $1k before turning around.

Or we're following the short term TA charts and we'll bounce off of $3k or so.

Two things that may play the biggest role are the Chinese closings and the possible ETFs this month.

More ETF's to be denied? I don't think people care anymore about them

I take 8th November 2017 for the new ATH.

Reason: OkCoin and Huobi will halt their CNY trading services by the end of October, so most Chinese traders will be progressively moving their BTC to other exchanges such as Bitfinex, making the Chinese drama be over soon. This will help the BTC price grow steadily as I see no more bad news that could hurt the BTC in the coming weeks; SegWit2X support is falling through. For instance, F2Pool and Bitwala have backed out of the agreement.

BTC will continue its bull run despite some ups and downs.

As soon as the Chinese exchanges return to their normal operations, i.e. with a CNY government backed Tether (CNYT), Chinese traders will have the chance to withdraw in CNY again, and that could hurt the price briefly, but I reckon no government backed tether will be launched before mid-November.

I have two questions to you Smiley

1.) What will happen with those big chinnese exchanges after closing them? They will change location of company and restart or close will be permanent? They are earning huge money and I dont think so permanent close is possible. I would like to change location of my company and restart once again. What do u think?

2.) Closing the biggest exchanges in China is good for us? Many investors will move their btc to global exchanges and they will grow in very short time. It could be good sign for us?

epic short squeeze when we find out chinese exchanges are short BTC  Wink  lol

Just a rumor for the time being, but it's being said that Bitpay now supports BCH. I never used Bitpay myself. Reliable sources would be welcome.

If that's true, it could lead to a handsome BCH price increase - I still have over half of my rainfall... Grin

ATH guess

26/10/2017 for me, thanks

Reason: Too much bullish momentum, if btc had fomo-wicked to $6k-8k then i really doubt a new ath this early, but it seemed to form a nice overbought top, a couple months correction, bounce off the trend ($2950) already looks good. We'll range here ($3'500-$4'200) for a few weeks, mid October China FUD blows over or all the Chinks that are going to sell already have. $5000 breaks on 26/10 because i'd say this date +/- a week

Stop-limit $3000

Good luck everyone, and nice of you to do this micgoossens Cheesy

If you meant the piece of terminology: all time high. The all time high itself: just above 5000 USD.

I wonder if this is going to shoot back above $4k or not.
Almost.

Thanks for the honesty. You could have tried to put in a plug for Gunbot, but you didn't
You're welcome. I don't really push it onto people who aren't looking for trading software, or at least try not to.

JP Morgan has been buying Bitcoin ever since Dimon declared it a fraud. Cheesy

I might be wrong but that image looks like it's saying that JP Morgan Securities have been bought a lot not that they are buying Bitcoin.

"Mäklarstatistik" means broker statistics, mäklare=broker

Whoa, elephant in the front room here people ....
HSBC
Barclays Capital Sec.
Morgan Stanley
JPMorgan
Credit Suisse
Goldman Sachs
Danske Bank
all listed as participating in this swedish traded bitcoinETN!
Isn't that the big news here? Large multinational banks and
regional banks are involved in the bitcoin market!!
Not long until they allow ETFs in london and NY/SF unlesss they want
to be left as trading backwaters. Only matter of time also until they
put it on the major currency trading platforms where these guys usually play.

This picture alone will probably initiate the final collapse of craptocurrency since it depicts them in the most true light possible, some scammy garbage you would find as an advertisement in the back pages of a magazine about car rims:
